    Islam is not a race.

Just wondering if this ex American vet had PTSD.

I saw a TV program on "Vice Channel" concerning PTSD and smoking Marijuana.

Apparently the Government and US Army medical team give vets with PTSD enough pills to put a horse down.

Too much Government Pill use sometimes causes Vets to do themselves in.

However, some ex VETs are now smoking Marijiuana, and this is helping with their bad memory's of war & PTSD.

The US Army do not want to know about marijuana's benefit in treating PTSD

    It was on "weedettique".Vice Channel

PTSD doesn't cause people to hear voices in their heads that tell them to go shoot up airports.

... Say what again? If the FBI isn't willing to rule it out, why should it be ruled out of this discussion?

I'm pretty sure we still ascribe "the voices in my head told me to do it" to mental illness.

In November, Santiago walked into the FBI's office in Anchorage and claimed his mind was being controlled by a U.S. intelligence agency and the CIA was forcing him to watch ISIS videos, federal law enforcement officials told NBC News.

If you read this article it said,

He joined the Puerto Rico National Guard in December 2007 and was deployed to Iraq from April 2010 to February 2011.

Along the way, he earned a number of awards, including the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Good Conduct Medal, according to his service record.

A senior law enforcement official said that Santiago walked into the Anchorage FBI field office in November 2016, after his discharge from the military and said he was under mind control by a U.S. intelligence agency.

The official said he appeared incoherent and agitated, saying the U.S. government was trying to force him to watch ISIS videos.
But i'm pretty sure they meant the Russians, not US

He was an ex National Guard member.

I guess its time to start banning ex National Guard members.

    An excuse?

    How about a reason?

Anyhow, I would argue that all religious people are mentally ill as well. There are varying degrees of mental illness, all from little sadness to batshit crazy who decide to kill people.

Well that proves it: Islam is the cure for mental illness. We should all convert immediately.

If you're creating a category that lumps ~75-90% of the world's population in as "mentally ill", I'd suggest that you should rethink your definition.

The point of a DISCUSSION is to Discuss about many possibilities and guess what Islam is one of them ... Learn your own terms before you threaten someone.

How is discussing the probability of this being a Muslim extremist off topic and derailing during a discussion about a terrorist act?

You mods need to lay off the power trips, man.

There's pretty good evidence that the man in question was mentally ill. If you have a point, make it.
