Don't worry the rich will stay rich. here in america we chose a billionaire company man to hire a bunch of other great white company men to ensure companies and the super rich stay rich off the backs of the populous. So I don't really know who'll have it worse.

meh we'll reap what we've sown.

I wasn't aware that NATO also had an article 50.

It's really sad to come on a gaming forum and see such hate being spewed.

Do you... I don't know how to put this besides bluntly.

Do you ever have a argument beyond moral outrage or concern trolling?

A leftwing thinktank is against Brexit? Holy shit, that's news!
This. "Waahhhh we didn't get our way! Let's make 'studies' on how it's going to cripple the country" resonates from this article. Of course the people who were opposed to Brexit would publish fake "news" to say in 13 years the country is going to be in shambles.

The rich should stay rich. I'm sorry, if you or your family lineage got rich, it shouldn't be stripped to give it to some fool working at McDonalds. Cry moar.

We'll reap what we sow? Pretty sure this is how the world has worked for CENTURIES. Changing that could potentially be a reap what was sown.

I rather get on with life than worry about hypothetical fears. Also I didn't vote Brexit

And yea, this will be a stark lesson to others. Do as you are told. Not by them, by us. Or else. Don't get me wrong- I think there is a lesson here. Just not the one you think it is. One that several other European countries may be about to not get either.
A whole 52% of people that voted. About a quarter of the population.

Gaming forum, yet you open a thread about politics, and you're surprised a few idiots are attracted to it?

P.S., leftist thinktank thinks brexit is bad, news at 11, but that's already been stated.

Still more than those that voted remain.
    I don't read replies, so don't bother.

The population would have aged anyway. The only way to get that proportion down is to make more young people (except raising a kid is so fucking expensive these days), or import them (except we're not allowed to have immigration).

It took 7 years to write CETA, which was a massive trade deal between Canada (otherwise no ties to the EU) and the EU. It nearly died because of a bit of Belgium said "no". The Brexit negotiations are a massive trade deal, and a dissolution of EU membership, and after two years they call time on it. The head negotiator quit last week because of the impossibility of the task ahead.

Unless the foreign office and the EU have been secretly writing a draft treaty for the last decade, it is going to be a rushed job that will only be to the disadvantage of the UK, because they are the more powerful partner in the negotiations. The UK can hold out for free trade and no free immigration, and after two years they get no free trade if the EU doesn't want to agree to that.

And if you or your family were born into family, you deserve to forever be locked into working at McDonalds and be called a fool by people who were luckier?
Another one of these 'it has been like this for like, ever, so let's not even try making the world a better place' kind of people.

True. Imagine telling people in 2008, after Trumps season premiere of The Apprentice, that this guy would be president in the near future. You'd be laughed out of the building.

Seriously, you are quoting the dailystar as a credible source? Here is some of its brilliant past reporting.

Europe cannot defend itself, after Brexit 80% of EU defence spending is funded from outside the EU. As for NATO its article 50 is called Donald J Trump, will NATO even exist after Jan 20th?

So defenceless Europe better play nice in the Brexit negotiations......

It was originally reported in The Times, however that source was quoted as I wanted everyone here to be able to understand the story.
13/11/2022 Sir Keir Starmer. "Brexit is safe in my hands, Let me be really clear about Brexit. There is no case for going back into the EU and no case for going into the single market or customs union. Freedom of movement is over"

Well if some report predicted it, it MUST be true.

Oh good, another Tennisace clickbait thread. How about you try that on the WoW forum again? Oh wait, you don't have protection over there.
