I love how they are all saying how brave she is... A rich white actress going in front of all of her rich white friends (with a few token minorities for the occasional leading role/mostly just supporting roles) in her little liberal echo chamber is not brave. Then she talks about diversity... Clearly she has never payed attention to sports... Sports bring people from everywhere, every background, based solely off merit. Race and class do not matter in sports. Only skill. Meanwhile Hollywood has a huge issue regarding diversity throughout every sector. If Trump banned all foreigners (which is not something he wants.) Hollywood would basically look the same. A bunch of white people that grew up in a leftist environment. Hollywood is not diverse.

They cannot believe that some people would prefer football and MMA over boring/melodramatic movies that the vast majority of people do not watch. Their ego is so large that they cannot believe that some people really don't care about their opinion. They don't understand why we won't listen to their lectures about what we "should" believe, instead choosing our own values and way of life. People like Meryl Streep prove why Donald Trump won. For liberals this was an amazing, brave speech (within the liberal echo chamber that is Hollywood... SO BRAVE!!!). To everyone else? This was a direct insult. Acting is not the only art form, even if you prefer it over sports.

Not really. He has a massively bad approval rating for someone at this stage of pre-presidency. Obama was at ~70%. Bush Jnr was at ~60%. By contrast Trump is at 45% (with 50% disapproval).

Moreover in virtually all previous cases the pre-approval rating is the high-point. So we can expect him to sink as time goes on. That doesn't bode well for him or republicans.
