Why are democrats in any way relevant in this discussion?
Trump is going to be president. Both houses are controlled by republicans.
You can't blame any of this on democrats. Everything that comes down the pipes is going to be on republican heads. Democrats don't have to "deflect" for anything.
Trump, on the other hand, looks like he may have some explaining to do. And unlike in the election, he and his supporters can't just shout "butbutbut Shillary!" anymore.
“Do not lose time on daily trivialities. Do not dwell on petty detail. For all of these things melt away and drift apart within the obscure traffic of time. Live well and live broadly. You are alive and living now. Now is the envy of all of the dead.” ~ Emily3, World of Tomorrow
Words to live by.
Wikileaks is on record as saying they have stuff on Trump as well... but it's no worse than what he puts out on a daily basis.

Trump has issues... but he shit was front and center - and the reality is better than the ZOMGITSTHEENDOFTHEWORLDWTFBBQ!!:!@# that the left puts out there..."“We do have some information about the Republican campaign,” Assange said. “I mean, it’s from a point of view of an investigative journalist organization like WikiLeaks, the problem with the Trump campaign is it’s actually hard for us to publish much more controversial material than what comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth every second day, I mean, that’s a very strange reality for most of the media to be in.”
On the other hand, the ZOMG SHES AS PURE AS THE FIRST WINTER SNOW!!! the left puts out there is just as equally bs.
[color=blue]This thread has lived beyond its life expectancy. ... It's also met the forum quota for posters insulting the intelligence of their peers to grasp the age-old upper hand in argumentation, I believe officially coined by Plato: "Ur, like, dumb and that's why I'm right." Zarhym
See, I feel like if you went down to Jim in IT and asked him to look like he was hacking something - he'd turn off the room lights, put on his life jacket and sunglasses, and stare intently into a Windows '95 scrolling marquee screensaver of the phrase 'L33t H4x0r1ng' (because he buys into the fantasy/allegory of hacking), whereas if you wanted a real photo - you would sneak up behind Janice in Accounting take a picture of a rather plain-looking middle-aged woman staring a little too intently at a massive Excel sheet.
The problem with that, is that it's unrecognizably boring and normal looking work - versus the portrayal that people are used to, even if it's not accurate - which is Matrix code flying down the screen and cyberpunk dudes in black trenchcoats decking their way into virtual realities.
I care a lot more about the quality of their writing and reporting, and basically nothing at all about the quality of their photos. I don't see any harm in their photo of hacking not being a realistic portrayal of hackers/hacking - particularly in an article which is not an expose on the life of modern hackers.
I mean I understand what you're saying, but they do it with sports team logos, names, and stuff like that all the time as well. None of it is very meaningful, they're just mistakes.
I'm not saying they shouldn't try to do a way better job than they're doing, but I think that there's a lot of sensationalising of their sensationalism of the news going on these days. (If that makes sense).

Please, enlighten me. WHAT other reason would there be for that incriminating evidence to have not come out before the election?
Either all of the agencies are wrong (we're talking ALL of them, along with a large number of sitting members of Congress) and this is just a disinformation campaign to undermine Trump, or their reports are true.
Tell me, which one of those sounds like more of a conspiracy theory?
If you push a button that finds you a 'random group' and it gives you a random group of people with random skill and random knowledge then you have no right to complain that a 'random group' button did what it was designed to do. The fault lies in your inability to make friends to play with instead of relying on a button designed to be random. It is a 'random group' button, not a 'best of the best' button.
Wikileaks does not equal Russia though, not sure where you got that. If Russia is holding back something they potentially have on Trump, they would not give it to Wikileaks to review...
Regarding the Hillary deflection, why is everyone not on 'the left' so obsessed with her? I do not see anyone here calling her super pure or anything outside of people who do so 'ironically'.
Buzzfeed just released all the source documents the British spy provided to the FBI. You can read them here.
