The bold is complete bullshit. It is not like those at all. Nowhere in any email leaks, and espeacially nothing from Wiener, did it assert she was a Satanist. People took the words "spirit dinner" as the only thing that lead them to believe she was a satanist. You are being an example of Russian misinformation campaign.

I'm not mixing these together. I'm just stating that these have all been debunked, but that the pro-Trump crowd was quick to jump on many of these and take them as godspel.

Buzzfeed made the right call. Its pretty much like saying you have stuff on Hillary and then say you actually had nothing the next day. If intelligence agency are dumb enough to fall for a false documents, its still news. The paper definitively needed to be public. The article blames buzzfeed for simply saying they got access to the papers like all media and intelligence agents, make of them what you will. Thats journalism, they dont give you their opinion on the paper, they dont even claim its true. All they confirm is where the paper comes from and who has seen it.

I advocate transparency, so I respect Buzzfeed's decision to publish. They state repeatedly that the document should be taken with a grain of salt and I take their word for it.

It's simply unverified. So by all accounts, this whole story could be fake. But it's not being presented, from what I can tell, as fact. Every article I've read clearly states that this is unverified, and possibly unverifiable, information.

So? Cant blame actual transparent journalism for that. Buzzfeed article is the opposite of fake news, its real news. The source of the document is confirmed. Who have seen it is confirmed. Even other medias confirmed they have seen it. What buzzfeed cant confirm and doesent claim it does or can, is if all or any of the document is true. They are informing you about the document that has been going around secretly in the media, CIA, FBI, NSA and the white house for some time. Thats the news.

Yes, it's in their published security document. They assess that there are no obvious forgeries in the released e-mails. They also found no ties between Wikileaks and Russia, but they think that Russia may have used a third party to distribute the e-mails to wikileaks, in which case they wouldn't have known in the first place. But the e-mails themselves received the validation from US intel.

The thing is, it only takes about half a brain cell to realize that the whole /pol/ claim is complete BS. That's not to say the claims in the document are true, but its certainly the case that /pol/ had absolutely nothing to do with it.
