I don't think for one second that Trump is complicit in this, or at least has been complicit.
I think he was playing a game and then won power in a surprise (even for him), the powers that be (wealthy etc) basically grabbed the vacuous twit and made him their tool. In years to come, I can see Trump being looked back at with pity, not with hatred.
A sick man, elected to power then used and abused and discarded.

Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.

And I posted one link (of dozen) giving you the answer. Another link, from the same journal, but with detailed info:

How do you Trumpers swallow all of his lies? First he denies, mocks US intelligence agencies. Then he claims false news and media bias. Now he finally admits Russia influence. Does any of that behavior sound presidential?
Misinformation campaigns, from basement level forums through to military purposely putting out contradictory reports concerning warzone activities. Polarisation of the American political spectrum is evident if you have the misfortune to look through forum posts on news sites. These sorts of psychological campaigns have been overlooked as the Agit element effects are only galvanising to people who are deep into one end of the spectrum (and those people are most likely to be susceptible to media/lies that falls into bias confirmation).
Nepotism...possibly maybe, but not fascism. And what qualifications do most politicians have exactly? Frankly, I'd prefer successful businessmen in charge for a while, instead of a bunch of hand wringing SJWs that have gone straight from university to politics.
Isolationist, and some would incorrectly say racist, but not fascist.Said ... check out his twitter feed, the wall, the Muslim registry, the US centric production focus etc.
So in other words there is no real evidence of Trump being a fascist, or even has fascist tendencies, but it's something you guys like to paint him as because it sounds bad. And also it paints him as a dictator like Hitler or Mussolini. If you are going to attack the guy, try to do it fairly and tone down the hyperbole.Remember - I'm NOT saying he is a NAZI, I'm just using the term fascist as it was originally designed to represent far right wing power at the top, corporate control government policies.
Terms like socialist, communist, fascist have distorted meanings in the mind of much of the US due to the US having a very right wing focused society.
Be rational please.... look at what these agencies are meant to do, and they do it just fine.
They are meant to provide INFORMATION - nothing else.
What you falsely perceive as their disgrace is nothing more than successive governments (of both sides) frequently or not so frequently misusing the information and/or various media misreporting on it.
It is a fool who shoots the messenger just because they don't like the message.

he has way too many financial and personal ties to russia for it to be an accident. his campaign manager paul manafort had very close, and very shady ties to the russian government in case we've all forgotten. https://www.google.com/amp/www.nbcne...?client=safari
i dont believe he thought he would succeed, to him it was probably just a game and a chance to win some money and power.
YOu are looking to narrowly at his behaviours and words. His cabinet alone might see him as an Oligarch ... but then you have to add the Nationalist ideals, and the nature of his personality (a demagogue) to end up with the conclusion.
Being fascist isn't in and of itself destructive, a healthy political system would temper his fascist ideals. The problem is that the US political system is far from healthy.
So - yes, as a matter of fact, Trump is a fascist.... but a literal one, not the boogey man definition that many Americans see the definition as.
