i'm losing elemental mastery, 4% haste but i can take liquid magma and lightning rod now, considering 4P M is another 10% damage on crit, well CL is always going to crit at least 1 target, thats another 10% damage on aoe, EQ is over 6 seconds so deals its damage much faster.
i don't see any real hurt to cleave unless you're fully single target specced taking icefury, but if there is aoe i wouldn't take icefury ever, take lightning rod and magma/echo, still primal ele for ST. very flexible spec now depending on fight, just down a bit of burst losing EM.
Survival Hunters.
Honestly, with blizzard fixing storm earth and fire, monks are probably going to shit on everybody for the first week of heroic nighthold.
Then get nerfed into the ground and a giant steaming pile of shit dumped on the for good measure after that first week, to keep up with tradition.
SP + Ret + Assa > Melee >> Casters > Hunters

At least when you are looking for a ranged it won't be difficult, it seems that there is only one remaining to catch up a melee.
these numbers are meaningless because claas balance was specifically tuned for t19, which nobody has yet.
From a few googling results, multiple sites show both Arms and Fury warriors at top DPS in 7.1.5, so Warrior is a solid choice.
It's not only 200k you will need it's that 200k plus whatever they gain.
As I said, hunters are taking this tier off apparently.
For single target it looks like its Ret, DH, ass & outlaw rogue, fury & arms and SP currently. Things will probably change with tier and trinkets from nighthold.

We should probably wait until the hotfix music stops before we determine who still has a chair.
From my raidtesting on beta and PTR it looks like Shadow Priests are going to cream most bosses in Nighthold, and because Blizzard has decided Legion is a SP expansion, my SP is finishing its 3rd artifact and then its off to get quickly geared in HC NH splits and proceed to destroy scrub classes like hunters or mages on everything but Scorpyron.
Given that the sims are changing daily and sims are already a really shitty way of judging an entire spec's performance, I'm afraid you're going to have to wait for a few week's worth of nighthold logs to get even slightly close to an accurate answer.
Funnily enough all i've seen from the Hunter community this whole xpac so far is how shit people are for playing BM and MM is such a hard spec to play and so much better, go through the Hunter forum since launch, nothing but attacks on people for daring to play BM.
Never seen so much hatred from people playing the same class, the hunter forum is a cesspool.
It's been slightly better since 7.1.5, i wonder why.
