except for stuff like this can cause players to quit, because imagine logging in then dying over and over and over no matter what you do, and have to make a new charecter, or wait a few hours/days

you have to remember there is alot of low level first time players out there who might be going to town, getting kileld going "wtf why am i dying" then getting spawn camped by this debuff, and quitting

It deals 86 damage per hit. Only people it's killing are level one.

Plus this is a once in a twelve year period event. Let it stay a while I say.

just because you a long time player know how to out heal it, doesent mean new players will

"hey lets add a npc who if you talk to and say "i am prepared" it jails them for 5 hours! old players will know to press "you are not prepared" its easy.... new players? nah fuck them, fuck them to hell"

except all those people who are not in stormwind, doing all sorts of other things, will get insanely mad ,people doing raids, pvp, etc

Tons of high level players are healing them. It'll all be over by the next server restart anyway (They need to fix the cause, not the people doing it). For now I'm happy to watch the flames.

thats good on those players, burt there is still most likley a few level 3-4 who are dying in 3 seconds and unable to do anything, i think the collest event to have liek this would be the zombie invasion, but have ti be a phase, and have it be per region, you talk to an npc and get ported into the phased version of the world with the zombie event going on, i remember my guild spent hours each day with other guilds filling the other time slots, defending org from zombies, and cleansing people

I'm all for new random events but it needs to be done well and planned(Not saying it should be told to us). Things like this are clearly not intended.

Yeah it'd be really cool. But too many whiny players who take this game too seriously.. and clearly don't really even enjoy playing that much anymore. They would threaten to quit!
