I would just say that the content is limited, so if you wan't to race though the content you should know that you might end up getting bored because you can't really progress any further :-)

Blizz will raise the cap, so i would just suggest you try to save all of your ap and use it when they raise the AP lvl cap if thats possible :-)
Doesn't mean he should be making these shit posts just because he has nothing better to do then to grind dungeons 18 hours a day since release.
The game can't keep your entertained for that amount of time a day, there has to be a max at some point.

Do you think he's unaware? Do you go up to every smoker you see and tell them it's dangerous to smoke?

A smoker isn't trying to change to the world (of warcraft) to his unhealthy needs.
If he decides to play 18 hours a day since launch thats up to him, we normal people won't ever reach 3 weapons maxed out till probably the end of the expansion.

OT: I'm kind of on OP side with this one I'm not even close to 54 at all, but definitely wish I could farm AP for an alt on my main simply because my alt is a healer, and despise doing wqs on him.

He's not asking for anything big. In fact Blizzard most likely already have plans to solve his issue. I doubt it'll have anything to do with AP becoming BoA (we already sorta have that with AK) though.

And I could argue that a lot of smokers do put requirements on the world and on people around them. It's just something that is more socially acceptable than playing games all day, so people don't react in the same way.

Sorry but you walked right into that one.

Like Blizz said many times "If you wanna progress this character you have to play this character".
Why you think the Net was born? Porn! Porn! Porn!

No, no, it is indeed unhealthy for the OP, and people who play the game as the OP, not for everyone of us, and not for the game.

    They've never said that.

Its not an issue seeing 99.9999999999999999% of the player base isn't even close to this, id argue that most of that isn't even close to maxing out one weapon.
If you are at his level then its time for him to go to a doctor and sort his shit out, not for the game to give him even more shit to do that for us players with an actual life impossible to complete.
The whole point of this game is to push your character to higher levels, adding a ceiling that only 0.000000001% of the player base might see if they are lucky (or put in 18 hours a day) isn't the "fix" you are looking for.

While I don't have an exact quote in mind, I think they've expressed that sentiment many times.

How much % is that last point worth?

On the contrary, it is very easy, people who play casually are the majority and the ones who pay for the game, so the decision seems quite easy for me.
Maybe it is time for the people who play more seriously to find a game where they are the majority?

That's the point. You don't need excessive farming. It takes 60m AP to max a weapon from AP 34 to 54, if we just assume five months to go that means you have to do about 400k AP every day. You get 100k every day just for doing your EC, that would leave you to do a single m+10 every day (or seven per week) to get that quota, ignoring the AP you get from WQs you do to complete your EC, raiding or all kinds of activities that reward AP.

Will someone who logs on every weekend to to some lfr run into that problem? Very hardly.
Will the default heroic/mythic raider on mmoc run into that problem? Very likely in the next months.

You really don't need to look at the 1% mythic raiders. It's a problem that will reach many players in the weeks to come.

They could add an extra trait, that does nothing except increases the physical size of your weapon by 0.1% for each 10M AP you collect.

Official forums would be more appropriate for suggestions. Or if your intention is not to rile people up here, why do you imply blizz ''can't make something''? You come across as whining when you might have a legitimate problem.

This could be a really good solution for everyone.

But if you don't want to be a preaching mother why do you even reply to him in the first place, cause it sound like you are trying to tell him whats wrong and right, and as i said if you don't know anything about the dudes life you can't really conclude that he is living a unhealthy life just because he got every weapon to 54

Seeing you'll need to be on 18 hours a day and spam Mythic + Maw of Souls for most of that time we can easily assume hes a neckbeard in his parents basement.
Again, its an assumption but with the data available to us its a pretty accurate one.
