Last night I had this idea to create website where you could advertise your keystones. Problem with ingame search is that I have a lots of alts and a lots of keys. I don't wanna relog multiple times and spam keys to people.

How it would work:
You log in using your battle net account (no registration) https://dev.battle.net/docs/read/oauth

As someone looking for boost you add your keys (addon would help to export them) and you post your availability.
As booster group you can search, filter and sort available keystones for people and see their availability.

Booster can form a group of 4 people which would be public and rated. Anyone could see their battle net character profile, opinions and ratings.
Once a group finds a keystone they make boost offer. Key owner accepts (or declines) and after a day of acceptation he will be able to rate boosting group (1-5 stars) and leave a comment.

Boosting offer would contain:
List of people who would be boosting (group)
Date and time when this would be happening
Comment

I work in web development for 8 years now and year ago i started making addons so it shouldn't be a problem. I also have a full framework with symfony3 + bootstrap + angular which i intend to use.

As a normal user: Would you use it? If not, why?
As a dev: Would you help with it?

I would add one google ad at the top of page (like poe.trade) and donation button to keep server costs in check. So no popups and annoying sh*t.

On the other hand there might be option to create groups like open raid where people would join and you can invite them or not. I had no problems finding a group to boost almost any keystone as long as it is not HOV.

Sounds like a system that would be exploited by all the real life money for carry websites etc that we already have plaguing the GF tool as is. Some time i see more spammers in there than actual people.

Actually plain wrong. Outside HoV you can get any key boosted quite easily. Obviously MoS/CoS/DHT are the most sought after, but they are enough group just taking any keys.

Voted no for this reason. This would be massively exploited by spammers and other RMT groups. It's not a bad idea on the surface, but it would work better as enhancements to the in-game group finder rather than an external website.

You simply don't know how to search for people. Thats it.

I think you don't get it. This tool won't be maintained by blizzard, so filling spam report will actually work. Having simple ban mechanism for spam solves the case because:
1. You need to have valid battle net account
2. You need to have at least 1 max level champ.

If you get your account banned then gl with spamming again. Well, its not impossible but you will need to level another 110 on a DIFFERENT bnet account. Good luck with that.

Spammer are not a problem at all.

i dont think people will like the idea of logging in with their battle net account somewhere untrustworthy... wowhead is a huge website, but something like this.... i dont think many people will trust it...

I don't think you know how oauth works. They will not be providing any password.

I'm spoiled by an active guild where I can run as many keys as I want without ever pugging. No stress, no drama, just a bunch of friends hanging out in Discord helping with each others keys.

It would be easier to get their home addresses, drive to them, then open up their PCs and check keys for myself than to insist they need to install something LOL. And that doesn't solve the issue which is key pugging while not being logged on my alt.

I think you missed the whole point.

Let me explain in a simple scenario:

1. You have a mediocre key lets say EOA 6. Its cool, not sh*t but not insta-invite-to-boost-group.
2. You don't wanna waste 20 minutes spamming keys to boost group on alt cause you need to do something else.
3. You don't care when it will be done.
4. Post your key on website. Get notified (well, website would need to have real time notifications) that you got boosting offer.
5. Accept it, log in, whisper too boosting leader for invite.

On the other hand as a boosting group:

1. Check available keys
2. Get tired of doing MAW over and over again
3. See that someone has EOA 6, decide to boost it after taking a break in 1 hour.
4. Post boosting offer to dude with specific date and time
5. See dude accepted
6. Log in, invite him, do the boost.

Also if you ever boosted, you know that it is not so easy to find key. Sometimes it takes quite a lot of time to get for example maw (because there are a LOT of boosting groups).

People looking to be boosted / carried on everything sucks as it is. A website to make it more efficient is a horrible idea. They need to fix this problem.

People should actually play the game instead of looking to get boosted all over the place.
