"lit" is one of those youngster words. It's an adjective that describes something that is great/awesome, or that you're excited, or could just mean that someone is high/intoxicated. E.g. "I drank eighteen illegal marijuanas, so I'm lit af!"
The hashtag is a trend that I believe surfaced on Twitter which usually links your message to a topic or group, as far as I've gathered. The youths now a days like to hashtag pretty much every single word to underline it. E.g. "Girls night out! #Yolo #wasted #SnortingCocaineOffOfaClownsPeeper"
Join us next week, when we'll explore the origin of "yolo", "af", "fam", and "on fleek".
