Banner Saga 2
... And I thought the final boss of the first game was the hardest video game fight I ever fought...
Hard mode chapter 13: My people are absolutely out of food and starving, we are in between armies of literally (and I mean, literally) millions of the enemy, all the while a violent storm is about to overtake us. No time to rest and heal up, no merchants to buy items from, no castle walls to defend from, nope just a straight up death march through and through. Can't go half a mile without another battle. The fights are Banner Saga 1 final boss levels of hard, each fight every fight. Started with 15 heroes this chapter, four died and more will undoubtedly kick the bucket too. Not even at the half way point yet. I seriously doubt I'll make it to the end of the chapter (since all my guys will be dead!).
