Watching porn in public is harrassment

Some people consider porn being an art. Which porn do we talk about? Is it some weird subreddit with naked people or kinky videos with 100% volume?
I mean, it's considered OK to watch GoT in public, but not ok to watch porn, both of them are 18+, at this point i don't see the difference.

Let's drive it up all the way to absurd city - should drawing (drafting, doodling, whatever) fake anime boobies in your notebook considered harassment? And if it doesn't have nipples? If it do have nipples but it's male nipples?

If you play that 'art' on public transport around my young niece/nephew then I'm going to stop you. I am not going to ask first. There's plenty of perfectly legal shit we don't do in public because it might make other people uncomfortable. Why is this so difficult to comprehend?

I would call that an attempt to steal the phone and would call you a robber. Regardless of your intent and what i do with it.
If a person just sits there and watches something on his phone - you look at the screen, see something you don't like and reach out to do whatever (you may intent to turn it off, but person in question will definitely think that you are stealing it) - you are pretty much in the wrong here.

Would be really hard to look innocent here - you just reached to some dudes phone to tamper with it or steal.

There will always be a demand for porn, sex is actually a primary need.
It is mainly the church who is responsible for making sex into a bad thing.

Today internet is forming more and more socially challenged youth, which ensures that the demand for porn will keep growing bigger.

Public porn viewing can get you a disorderly conduct charge at best and an obscenity charge at worst, particularly if you (inadvertently or no) view pornography in a public area in front of children. That sort of behavior is what can get you on a sex offender list for crimes against children.

Also it is none of your business what I do or watch on my phone or laptop or whatever if it is muted. No one is gonna come to your children and show them porn. If you can't watch over your children its your own problem.

eh, i watch porn as entertainment. i would not, under any circumstance, do so in an obvious way in public.

You are also possibly perpetrating a crime...so who should I believe? I only have your word he was trying to steal your phone. On the other hand, he's got two kids with him that make his argument seem plausible...plus they might even be able to back him up on the porn issue if they also saw it.

And you've told that you've seen a man reaching over to someone elses phone, while you haven't seen what the other man was doing with his phone. Depending on where you are, public viewing of pornography can trigger obscenity laws...especially when there are children nearby.

If someone did that to me I would happily reveal to the world that I was, in actual fact, not watching porn.
