Pretty damn neat looking stuff, imo. Even some of them that the reddit hive mind shits on aren't that bad.

I'm actually going to go against the grain and state that the BRD/MCH ones are a bit too gaudy and over the top. DRG one a bit behind them in gaudiness. That said, I dig the WHM one as well as the SMN/SCH books.

Edit: DRK weapon should've had a red glow for once (to match that ever so beloved Darkside aura). Yellow seems...odd.

The light farm begins after turning in the pneumite.

How much pneumite do you need? i had 2000 poetics i never spend so just bought 10 right there but have yet to unlock somh al HM.

15 total, so not much of a "grind", imo (that title still belongs to the 240 step).

edit; Holy crap that PLD relic looks awesome. DRK one too but agreed colour should be different.

I think PLD looks really good for the class as well. I kinda like BRD too, though. NIN is a big yawn, so I'll glamour right over that again. :/

Yeah, the crafted Thordan Ex NIN daggers have a more powerful glow effect than those. The WAR and MNK ones, while not anywhere near as glowy as other 270 animas, have a bit more of an impact. NIN daggers look like someone dipped some leveling daggers in glitter.

I was about to spend my poetics that i was capped on the day before i knew i should hold off which was 2/3rds done.

So did they add crafted versions of the primal weapons that were left? Cant see to find info about that.

Yes, in fact it's so high pop you can't make a new character on the realm. (You can pay to transfer there, or if you're lucky catch the servers coming back online after maintenance or something, but 99% of the time nope.) Also there's almost always a queue to log on for me, though it's rarely more than a couple minutes.

Also does anyone know if there's any need for a alt? I love to play different races but you obviously don't need that here since every char can be every class :L

There is to my knowledge 0 benefit to having more than one character since you can do it all on one character. I have 3 thougb because rp.

Only reasons for alt characters:

- RP
- Another crafter for covering additional specialists
- Another raiding character that mains a different DoW/M from your main (for the purpose of who spends scripture on what first. Example: Having BLM as your main job on one character, and WAR as main job on an alt. This is an insanely min-max hardcore thing to do, imo.
- Additional retainers (only really effective if you own your own FC, though)

None added from what I've seen; in fact I don't think there was a whole lot of new stuff for crafters. Main thing of interest is those new glamour tools (or I assume they are glamour only, at the very least...heaven knows I don't want to meld another set of tools).

Krile's best healing spell saved the miqo'te envoy but I wouldn't call it "magical restoration to battle condition".

Begs the question of "just how powerful is healing magic in lore"?

Kinda sad to see Zurvan Ex killed so quickly and by a wide variety of statics. Also, apparently the best comp here is 1 tank, 1, healer, 6 DPS and just push everything.

Zurvan Ex farm for anima light, heh. Weapons for alt job(s), progress on anima for main job(s), opportunities to win the bird mount.

That said, I am surprised at how it's being compared to Sophia difficulty wise when Yoshida stated it would be harder.
