What if robots will be slaves of homo sapiens.

    I cannot take MMO-Champ serious.

This is a pretty inane thread, but I'll bite. There would never be a such thing as "robot slavery" as "robots" are not and could not ever be "people". These "robots" would be designed to perform specific tasks and would have no need for any sort of enhanced AI, especially to the point that the "softies" would consider them "sentient beings". In other words, life-like AI's only purpose would be to exist as life-like AI. Task-performing robots would exist only to perform those tasks. Conflating the two is just silly.

Robots are robots. They're automatons designed for a specific purpose. They're not sentient and they're not slaves.
People tend to lose jobs at a rate that is something a reasonable human can plan for. When the rate of change is yearly, what person can plan a life around that?

On MMO-C we learn that Anti-Fascism is locking arms with corporations, the State Department and agreeing with the CIA, But opposing the CIA and corporate America, and thinking Jews have a right to buy land and can expect tenants to pay rent THAT is ultra-Fash Nazism. Bellingcat is an MI6/CIA cut out. Clyburn Truther.

I don't think it worked for other people in CA. A shame for the state that is viewed as superior to rest of us.

What point are you up to?
You say "slaves were always people" when did we actually decide that? The point is there was a time (like now with robots) that we didn't. Look::

Does that sound like a person being sold or an appliance? To our current mentality, its a person.. Back then? It was nothing more than property.

This is why Next Gen is my favorite. Even though i've seen this episode a few times, It still gets an emotional response from me. Picard is absolutely amazing!

Oh, wait. Are you another one of those "Well, clearly everyone will just go to school to fix robots" people that forgets:

    1. Not everyone can go to school
    2. Not everyone is going to want to work on robots
    3. Market oversaturation
I dont get the market saturation thing. This often assumes that there is a limited amount of jobs, as se become more efficient the economy grows and demand for new jobs increases.

No, the point is that this is going to lead to a racist topic, and i wont join you on this discussion.

It doesnt matter if it "sounds" like being a person, as slaves always were conscious human beings, no matter if someone enslaved them or not.

You are comparing apples with oranges.

When you have a glut of people to fill a job, they all have to compete with the people who will do it for the lowest cost.

That's I can't stand contract work. It's literally who will do the same jobs for less funding.

If we are(as some believe) made in the image of God, and we create robots in our own image, dont they already share our intelligence? They are from us.

At the very least, shouldn't we have something in place ready for their own civil rights?
Oh god I agree with the troll...

The Turing test should be made more difficult, and anything that passes it should be given civil rights, and yes, we should start setting this shit up sooner rather than later

Now we are getting to where asking this fits the current position of this discussion.

How do you know you are conscious? How do you know you are not just a programmed AI?

It's about to get all philosophical in here!

The turing test absolutely will need improvements as AI improves. I absolutely agree with that.

Human society is made to accomodate humans, any robot that would be made to work with humans, would be made to be as human like as possible.
a robot teacher, psychiatrist or doctor would all benefit from being more human-like
robots and AI WILL become more human like as time goes on,
I've no idea what to write here.

When do we put a stop to the slavery that will become the robots? Sure you'll say "hey relax, they're just freaking machines" but when do we recognize their need for civil rights representation? How long are we gonna allow it to go on before we give them equal rights?
When/if they acquire sentience. Until that time they are nothing but fancy hammers.
