huh? They are extremely far apart on economic policies.
They are different in specifics, they are exactly the same in the broad strokes: Jobs, ending outsourcing, securing the border ( yes Bernie did stand for this ), ending foreign interventions.

Actually God has everything to do with him being elected. But without turning this into a topic which is not allowed here, I will leave this alone with this one thought, he said during his speech,..." that most importantly God protects us."

I agree, many of them are beyond reason, but not all of them. But the fact of the matter remains that when the logical conclusion of his policies and picks hit home, the majority of his base will hate him as even by the polls a great deal of his own voters even thought he wasn't up to running the country and chose the "Not Clinton" candidate in response.

As the economy tanks under him, as the wages decline under him, as the jobs he promised don't come back under him, as the rich get rich and the debt explode under him, his base will be pissed from being cheated.

Then you have the ones who believe stuff even he never said. Evidently there is a lot of people in Florida cheering him because they think he will legalize weed even though he never said he would and his attorney general looks to be gearing up to use federal authority on Florida and other states that legalized it to keep it outlawed anyways. If they wanted Weed legal, then they should have voted for Sanders, Stein, or Johnson because neither Trump nor Clinton ever planned that.

He said he would help him on the parts he agreed with and oppose him when they worked against the best interests of the people.

Trump and Sanders have some areas where their views agreed, the majority of them are black and white as Trumps plans effectively whore out the working class and their children to the rich while Sanders attempted to help the middle class and their children instead.

With regards to foreign policy, he's definitely a lot safer. But domestic policy, specifically social and economic issues, he scares me just as much, if not far more (specifically regarding social policies).

I don't know, as him for the specifics of what he ment. But Bernie being a social democrat, versus Trumps very right wing economic stance.. Hardly seems they'll find a lot of common ground.

Duck Dynasty dude. He's a celebrity and he's making money hand over fits pandering to an audience, but he's not a dignitary in the slightest.

I don't give a shit that he's a white dude (I'm a white dude!), actually, but thanks for pointing it out. I'm simply giggling that a B list (at best) celebrity is considered a "dignitary". If it had been Antonio Sabato Jr. in his place, I would have giggled just as much.

Like I said, they would let him ride till he became a huge liability to them doing something stupid like trying to default on the national debt or until he becomes so hated that even the majority of his own base want him gone.

Then they remove him and claim it was them and actually get a tick up in the popularity scale for removing him but still getting all the fucked up shit he did for them to stay. The longer he stays, the more his voters will actually start to hate him when the results of his actual plans and policies hit home to them.
I think they would have to do it the pro forma way if they wanted it to happen. They'd need to put out the evidence and an impeachment trial would be the best way. But that brings up an interesting thought. Would the democrats go along with impeachment given Pence is the replacement?

Thats almost the way we feel about his loyalists. They have until he screws things up to celebrate, but everyone who see's it coming is guaranteed "I told you so' rights for Life. Wasn't it those guys who kept saying Obama was going to do Sharia Law? They must have been so disappointed.

But over just the last couple of days, Trump has already been trying to chip away at the integrity of White House Press conferences. First he tried to get people to agree to the office being moved to a bigger room across the street and filling it with 4x the reporters (from 49 seats to approx 200).

This would have resulted in the kind of spectacle often seen in Russian press conferences, when reporters are often simply trying to gain attention to ask their questions by silly and shameless means and often ignored; and many are planted to ask softball-questions or applaud (which is a no-no in press conferences) and just provide distraction, which is a technique he already pulled at his 'press conference' in New York recently.

Then of course, we have things like him trying to shove unqualified and unknowledgable billionaires into his cabinet, and trying to get the ACA undone with promises of a plan that no one has ever seen, despite the years it took to write the first iterations of the one in place now.

So the left (and other people who have the sensibility to see when things are actually wrong) will be making moves to protect the country from actual behaviors which have real potential to result in negative outcomes. Even for slogan-shouting Trumpkins.
