It's a matter of probability. What he described is him just randomly grabbing women and then they "let" him, which given the circumstances–famous, well connected, and extremely wealthy man grabbing an isolated woman–strongly suggests that "letting" him simply means they knew there wasn't much they could do about it. He's on the record saying other things that point to a general pattern of Trump putting his sexual needs above respect for anyone else, such as abusing his position as pageant owner to creep on contestants, so combined this strongly suggests that Trump is bragging about something he thinks makes him a stud without realizing that he's really talking about instances of sexual assault, which is in line with how egotistical people often view their misdeeds. Does this mean that he's a sex offender beyond a shadow of a doubt? No, but it makes it very reasonable for people to believe it's the case. At the very least, he's definitely sexist and has shitastical views on women.

What about "I just go for it, I don't even wait." If you just jump straight to grabbing someone's pussy there can be no time to establish consent. The fact that this very basic concept has to be explained to you is incredibly disturbing.

Hands up I am no expert in the political history of American history of Presidents so perhaps stuff like this has already occurred but from an outsider the amount of crazy happening over Trump is bewildering to me. Protests, riots and seemingly a country completely divided almost aggressively because of one man, it's awfully worrying. Do you think 2016/2017 will be recorded as a stain in your history books? I don't recall seeing as much friction regarding Clinton, Bush & Obama. I understand Presidents usually get negative attention eventually but not immediately

Yes on several levels. On how campaigns are run. How much you can lie. How a country can switch from left to right so fast.
But the biggest stain will be in civil rights and the environment. America was already a leg behind to other country's and what most normal folk on earth think. But this will leave a stain in the history books where old thinking like women's right is the kitchen and gays can be cured by prayer etc etc still is valid. While history over the last 50 and mostly the last 20 years have proven them wrong.
It will also leave a stain on decency in history books. Where normal people who disagree find middle grounds to talk and solve their problems. It will show right wing insanity who just do what they want. And care for no one but themselves. The pre-primary polling was showing that Bernie was going to lose. The news agencies weren't reporting a Bernie loss early on because the DNC/Clintons told them to, they were reporting it because the numbers for Bernie simply weren't there. Bernie was surprisingly popular as a socialist candidate who had basically come out of nowhere to challenge a political titan, but he was almost always double digits behind in the polls. Again, I'm telling you this as someone who followed and supported the Bernie campaign. We were all hopeful that Bernie would pull a miracle out of his ass, because many of us wanted to see Bernie win. He had a lot of good ideas but he also had a lot of blank space where ideas should have been when it came to things like foreign policy. His campaign lacked energy and drive to get people up and out to vote for him.



It certainly is a good thing that Clinton didn't need them, then.

People kept crying that if people "voted how they wanted" then Bernie would have won. But not only did they poll the super delegates and find out that only a tiny handful even wanted to vote for Bernie, this also held true for the general Democrat caucus. Bernie still would have lost even if people had "voted how they wanted". The polling numbers when people were asked who they "truly" wanted to see win the primary weren't far off from the results of the primary, and certainly wouldn't have bagged Bernie a win.

That major players in the DNC didn't want Bernie to win isn't cheating honey, and unless you're claiming that every single poll about Bernie vs Clinton was made up, including independent online polls, predicting a Bernie loss wasn't any kind of collusion or corruption. It was simple numbers.

So maybe the rabid Bernie Bros can just drop the hysterics about cheating already? Or are you going to carry a grudge with you for the rest of your life over it?
