Nothing to protest here in a small town in the middle of the sticks.

"Hero", is what they've all been saying. This world, it isn't worth the saving."

Again, if generic "I'm not happy!" protests become too prolific, it becomes a matter of fatigue... "The boy who cried wolf," if you will.

I feel people should save their energy and passion for specific causes. If people are trying to rally protests just to show they're disgruntled too often, other people who might be on the fence could, frankly, lose interest or worse, become annoyed at the inconvenience. Part of a rally isn't just to show you support/dislike something, it should also be a rallying call to your cause. And if you're actively making people apathetic because they see it all the time, you could be hurting that cause. It becomes even more difficult if you don't really have a cause to begin with.

Like the occupy Wall Street thing. Good cause. Lots of interested people. But it went nowhere and lacked focus. And subsequently, nothing happened. People became apathetic because of its directionless quality.

Wouldn't miss it. I punched some random old lady and urinated on her before me and a few others torched a computer repair shop and tipped over a car.

Best protest I've been to since Obama first became president, looking forward to the next one in four years.

Blindly rejecting everything a leader does it not good, but accepting everything he does is even worse.

And most being on medical care.. why would you protest if you're sick? Seems unhealthy.

What would your placard have said?

Didn't do any protesting against the legitimately elected head of a foreign state, though I did consider setting fire to the barstool in order to warm myself up.
Damn heathen, at least start with a smal fire in the astrays before you go for the furniture.

They don't have ashtrays in pubs. Smoking ban and all that malarkey.

Sometimes they'll have cups with water, which I expect are quite difficult to set fire to.

Nearly everyone I know out here went (Oregon). My boyfriend is watching the Portland protest between patients at his medical clinic. I was sick this week so I attended for an hour, then headed back to the office to catch up with work. I would have stayed longer if I wasn't so backlogged.
