The polls weren't far off. They had Clinton winning the popular vote by about 3.2% but she won by about 2%. On the state level they were less accurate but still not far off. The problem is that it was enough for Trump to win which was in the margin of error in most of the states. Granted at the top end but still in the margin for error.
Regarding his approval rating, take a look at this:

I just realized, Trump was totally right about Obama being a Kenyan Muslim. It's just an alternative fact.
For those who still have doubt.
Video with no commentary. He had a smaller crowd. Get over your big dick syndrome and fucking deal with it.
Breitbart, infowars and maybe the KKK homepage gets approved by donny tinyhands. really alternative facts is the biggest crap i have ever heard when it comes to lies. IF they lie about things we can fact check ourself in 3seconds imagine how much they lie about other things
All i can say is that the silent majority of people that voted Trump in had actual jobs to go to.
Which is more than i can say for those criminal protesters and by the looks of it most of the women the other day.
There is the sad paradox of a world which is more and more sensitive about being politically correct, almost to the point of ridicule, yet does not wish to acknowledge or to respect believers’ faith in God
But but but they said those alternative facts showed he had the bigly crowd ever. donny and his crew wouldnt lie would they? oh wait spicer's comments got labeled pants on fire by politifact already.
1st message from the trump administration after they get sworn in and it is a pants on fire lie

couple of things, in there that is the reason he isnt showing it and i think it is a combo of all of em.
A) he hasnt paid taxes in years
B) he is no where near as rich as he says he is.
C) it shows very extensive dealings with foreign governments that are considered non friendly by the USA.
Thats the 3 main reason he is hiding them is all of them 3 i dont know but i am fairly certain he has several of them in his tax returns
Didn't this whole thing evolve out of the media pointing out his small crowd size, as if that's somehow relevant?
It's kinda like a bunch of people mocking a short guy, then the short guy goes on to defend how tall he is, and everyone saying, "Stop having short man syndrome!" Something like that.
Does Iron Maiden have 1.8 million people in every show? I'm not familiar with their ticket sales.

I have no idea where this came from. I thought it came from the press secretary saying that this was the biggest turnout ever when in fact, it wasn't.
