Well,Catherine has issues with interpretation of some events - she blames the Horde for invading the Redridge Mountains,where her family lived?Well,those were Blackrock orcs all along,who have been acting on their own as servants of the Dark Horde,lead by the Rend Blackhand,who was a puppet of Nefarian. Some Blackrock orcs joined the Horde,but it was during the Mists of Pandaria. As for the Southshore - yea,I loved that place and I don't appreciate what Sylvannas did there.

She is mad at Horde and it's good,that there're characters like her,who aren't the version of Anduin in MoP.

She grew up in Southshore and her parents are buried there, its safe to assume I think they were living there when the forsaken attacked it. Or at least I would think it is safe to say that.

There is a reason why some characters is 2/5 or 3/5 in the OP. I thought what you described goes without saying.

Arluin is ... well... She's fine but she has done literally nothing other than being that guy's sister.

Now if it was her brother, whatever his name was (I forgot), then maybe I would take him on the account of having the same level of relevance to the Suramar plot as Margaux or Valtrois, to varying degrees of course.
