Word. Mei should be praised for taking her own health seriously. Praising people who are overweight and unhealthy is a terrible thing to do. There's exceptions of course but most overweight people just don't care or lack the willpower at trying to be healthy. (I lack the willpower.)

I don't agree at all. It's very obvious she was wearing thick/padded clothing in her normal outfit and the new one is meant to be more flattering. You can see that she has the same basic frame, it's their fault for thinking she was larger than she is.
She's actually not that chubby, she just has a different body shape than "conventional" characters. It's pretty clear this wasn't a bug and unfortunately blizzard is just bowing down to a weird subset of the playerbase again. The way it looks "bugged" is perfectly in line with someone wearing a padded jacket for cold climates.
