Much of what is called left these days is merely identity policies. Some feelgood adaptionist ideologies which embrace capitalism as base ideology but would otherwise just only attack social issues.

The problem you are going to run into is that most people with a leftward bent have little to no idea what one of these sites would be. They are fringe sites that get very little attention and when they are linked to they are often dismissed and ignored by most. I am not saying they are not out there but they are not popular by any stretch of the imagination. Your attitude there also suggests that you need to validate your beliefs. Your eagerness and team mentality indicates that you likely just memorized a bunch of facts from fringe publications and want to machine gun them out as quick as possible and move on. I would suggest slowing down a little and engaging in some long and well thought out (not rehearsed) discourse.

The problem with Young Turks is that all they do is bitch and moan about how shitty the mainstream media is, but all of their videos just consist of them regurgitating some story that had already been reported by a mainstream outlet, and then putting an irritating spin on it. They seem to at least be well-meaning and genuine though, which is more than I can say for Fox, not to mention any of the truly extreme right wing outlets.
