Time for all the Trump haters to calm down, and all the supporters to open their eyes.

The top psychologist in one of the top hospitals in the USA has given a formal diagnosis, breaking normal ethical guidelines due to the nature of the 'patient'.

Remember - that psychology is done by listening to patients, watching behaviours etc ... so this is pretty accurate stuff.

The finding - Trump isn't evil, nasty or any of that crap - he is just very ill.

The man is a goddamned train wreck. Have you read transcripts of some of his recent interviews? Christ, I have seen people with advanced stage alzheimers who carry on a more coherent conversation then Trump does. The man is the goddamned poster child for ADHD, considering that he can start a sentence off on one topic, and finish it on something completely different, and still manage to take a detour through 2 or 3 other topics in the middle along the way, all while never actually addressing the question that was asked in the first place.

It is done in person for practical reasons (doctor not travelling), the diagnosis is accurate with enough evidence of behaviour etc. The treatment and cause of course require in person.

To make it any more than an uneducated opinion it does. That he has had some sort of narcissitic disorder has been known for some time thanks to a number of professionals determinations.

This sort of nails it down to a specific diagnosis for the first time... that is important.

Unless the patient is acting. Without physical proof, acting can prevent accurate psychological diagnosis. The diagnosis would be based on a lie.

In essence you can dispute that. Trump knows exactly how to manipulate people and many people like the psychological sensation of being managed by men like trump. In that sence trump is the ideal president many people want, without having to give complex subjects much thought. Trump is a result, not the cause.

How's Trump in private? What's his relationship with others? What's a character, what's real?

His outward character may be narcissistic. After all, we're looking for people with confidence to lead a country.

But this claim does not make sense. Unless he met with Trump personally, then it's only wild guesses.

That's the idea of long term analysis - and we don't get to decide. These guys have been monitoring his behaviour, words, physical movements etc for a year now. In detail.

SO the diagnosis is pretty damned accurate, a stack of other psychiatric specialists had already determined he had some sort of narcissistic disorder making him unsuitable, but at least we now know it isn't his fault at all.... he is at the mercy of a disease.

Incorrect, it just has to be done with expert knowledge ... diagnosis of all sorts of conditions including mental illness is frequently done over the wire.

The only reason you would need to meet personally is to evaluate cause and treatment.

He is currently breaking the law, I just don't want to see a mentally ill person jailed - when the correct action is to take him out of harms way and help him.

Please stop denying every bit of evidence that gets put out there - this man is not suitable to be president. That is undeniable.
