It's true that they are behind on Gul'dan. But reset is happening in a few hours, so if they can get the reclear done faster they might be able to catch up

It's a way to keep the guild together. If guild stops raiding ppl will get bored and quit the game. Also because of boosting as ppl mentioned.

It all depends on whether the wipes on Guldan are strategy/performance or if it's a hard DPS check. A full clear with ilevel for all 3 guilds can change the race.

They still have time to see how the fight works until the reset. It would be so much harder if they only killed her tomorrow and knew nothing about Gul'dan.

Good for Method but they are still so far behind. They will have basically 0 Gul'dan experience going into the next reset.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

The imminent reset helps to level the playing field some; Method will have enough time to see some/most of the boss and develop strategy going into the post-reset split runs.
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.

    It's truly something special

It doesn't matter if they saw it today or tomorrow. They are 20-30h of wipes behind and the only way for it to not matter is the boss to take something sick like 200 hours of wipes, then you can make up the 10% difference with a superior strategy or execution.

method may be 9/10 but they are very far behind in terms of pull

    would still take a miracle
Insert cringe politically charged signature here

With 2.5 hours they can get a good feel for the fight, determine classes and develop strategy for the reset. Obviously it's limited by gear or it would be dead already so they have an outside shot with a resets worth of gear. Obviously very unlikely, but without a kill this reset they probably had a 0% chance. Maybe 10-15% now.

    Yeah, sounds about right.

The chance increased for sure. 2 hours of pulling give you a lot of information to sort some things out.

I would give method a 100% chance of winning world first at this point. Maybe even 150%.

Dont forger that now they have to clear it all over again - 7-9 won't be one shots. Whoever spends less time on clear to Guldan, will have an upper hand.

With the added loot from the first 6 + 3 fresh bonus rolls (provided they burned their previous tokens this week) 7-9 should be basically oneshots unless they severly switch classes for Gul'dan.
