    Looking for a new monitor,144hz ,G-sync,Full HD

    Hello,

I'm planning to buy a new monitor for myself, there are 3 major options atm:

    Acer Predator XB241

    AOC G2460PG

    ASUS PG248Q ROG SWIFT

What do you think, which of these is the best ? Also,if there are other options beside these three (like BenQ or Dell),you can also help me out with that. (the pricetag is around/same as the others)

I have the AOC G2460PG and really like it.
I bought the Asus from Amazon and had a few dead pixels but that's normal :/
The only "problem" is that I would have bought a 1440p monitor if I knew better back then.

What video card do you have? Maybe your gpu can handle 1440p?

Edit : I sent the Asus back, sorry I'm drunk because vacation xD

asus pg279q is the one i currently use, it's beautiful to say the least, couldn't recommend it more, the only downside is the price, though it was worth it.

I recommend buying it from a source where you can return it without much hassle, Amazon for example.

    Dead pixels are very common!

I have a GTX 1070,from Gigabyte. Is it worth nowdays to invest in a 1440p monitor instead of the standard full hd ?

You are not going to get a steady 144Hz with a gtx 1070. 60 or 120 yes, But not 144Hz

So it's pointless to invest into a new monitor, unless I buy a new decent videocard aswell?

If you get a 60Hz model insted, then the gtx 1070 will be enough. But for 144Hz, you will need a gtx 1080 card

With a 1070 you have to choose, 1440p or 144hz. Personally I'd go for the fps. I haven't played on a 1440p yet, but I feel like it's overhyped. I have 3 144hz monitors and it's a whole world of difference, go with that.
