just eat rocks instead
Again you are too animal-centric here.
Because you lot are dogmatic non-listeners.
It doesn't matter if you think that plants suffer or not. If it's important to you and you are an ethical vegan - even the possibility of plant suffering should be enough to stop eating anything but their reproduction devices (fruits and seeds). Just because you don't know if they suffer doesn't mean they don't. But you have a dogma that they don't because it suits you. While the rest of the people just don't care if their food suffers...
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side
I listen just fine.
There is no suffering without a central nervous system. This has nothing to do with being "animal-centric" or racist as you called me earlier.
You have offered no proof, btw.
Also, let's be honest you anger at vegans has nothing to do with stuff you're saying about plants.

Bodakane still fighting the good fight. You have more patience than I, my friend. I cut my losses after the 500th "b-b-but plants are alive you religious fanatic."

I'm sure we can dig up some anti vegan memes lickety split, there's the ever popular "For every animal we don't eat, he's going to eat three" line we can start with.
The debate will become a lot easier when Memphis Meats hits the ground running. Even plant-based alternatives are advancing quickly. I picked up some Beast Burgers not too long ago and had to double check the ingredients to make sure I wasn't eating beef.
I'm also surprised by how many restaurants are now offering vegan options too. I may have a warped perception, though. Philadelphia is incredibly vegan-friendly. Blackbird Pizzeria #1.

Yes...I understood it the first time you said it.
I'm asking if you do or don't see a difference between preventing bugs from decimating crops and factory farming?

Yeah, I can't wait till the "meat cloning" thing takes off. The best part is that people saying they wouldn't eat it won't have a choice after awhile, as that will be how most will be made as it will be more cost effective and easier to supply.
I didn't know that about Philly. I heard Portland (of course) and Asheville is supposed to be amazing too.
What cheese do the use at Blackbird?

Just checked out the memphis meats website.
.....holy....crap. There is hope.
Daiya, which is hands down the best vegan cheese I've tried. I used to be a steak and potatoes guy and I used to swear by Tony Luke's cheesesteaks as the best in the city. I can say without a shred of exaggeration that Blackbird's cheesesteaks are better than any other that I've had in Philly.
Honestly, I'm sure people have tried these without knowing they weren't eating meat.

Me not accepting you calling roots a nervous system is not me not listening. Its basically me saying ywhat you're saying requires proof. You may be impressed with your take on the world, but I remain unconvinced without evidence.

Yes, it's still harm.
If you actually paid attention you'd know I said more than once, the vegan motto is to do the least amount of harm possible.
Now, answer my question, do or don't you see a difference between preventing bugs from decimating crops and factory farming?

Dammit that food looks incredible!!!!
I like Daiya and many pizza chains have it as an option now.
Have you tried Follow Your Heart? Hands down, the best shredded parm you'll find. I really like their shredded mozz too.

I want to say I've tried their cheddar cheese slices, but I haven't tried their parmesan. I'll have to give it a go if I see it. This is what I'm using now; great stuff!

Those were made with Seitan. They even have some packaged for sale. I've made Seitan a few times, but I haven't been able to replicate the texture of Blackbirds. There's like a million different ways you can make it though, lol. Trial and error.

1. I didn't call roots a nervous system. I called it a "nervous" system.
2. If you needed proof you would google it.
3. I explicitly said proof is not required - only a possibility. If you care about plant suffering - a possibility of their suffering is enough. Since you cannot know for sure that they don't suffer - without proof, right?
4. ??
5. You don't listen. You are adversarial. I don't care if you eat plants even if they suffer horribly, but you demonstrate the need for them not to suffer so you shut your mind.
