Help: fury dps outside of Battle Cry

Hello there guys,

I pretty much did all the research about the gear, rotation, burst, etc. I just started on my warrior so any tip would be much appreciated

Outside of Battle Cry, with normal rotation, my dps seems ridiculously low. Is that how fury works or am I doing something very wrong? I try to follow the priority list, like doing Rampage with full rage bar to proc Frothing Berserker, Raging Blow Enraged, Blood Thirst, then Furious Slash.

With 867 ilvl, I can do like 600-700k on burst with cds popped, but with no cd I do like 180k LOL. Bloodthirst and furious slash looks like they do negative dmg, and the execute phase never last long enough for me to actually increase dps.

atm I have 25% haste and 41% mastery. Pls help :P

Assuming you have Inner Rage talented (which you should), you want to use RB regardless of whether or not you are enraged. Without complicating anything further, the general priorities out of Battle Cry are:

Rampage (100 Rage) > RB > BT > FS

That's exactly my rotation. I just found it really odd that with Battle Cry it goes really high, but doing that rotation with no cds pop I can't even reach 200k. I read the sticky but I haven't find there something related to my issue

You will absolutely see a huge variance in your dps between BC and no BC periods, that's how the 2 war dps specs work.

For example I didn't fuck up too much here https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...pe=damage-done (toon is Cpnboomerang, click on the name on the graph to see it).

As you can see there is variance, but it won't be as bad as what you have now once gear goes up as you'll have more enrage uptime. The really bigs drops are the bridge breaking slams, otherwise you can see dps jumping from around 4-500k without CDs to 800k w/o DoS (now I think I did fuck it up, should be higher), and up to 1M5 with it.

This is an innate problem with the warrior class itself, since 2002.
If you do not have good gear, your DPS will be mediocre. If you have, and the ability to use your brain effectively, you can be among the superstars of your raiding team.

Now with your itemlevel I guess you do not have a quick way to get tier pieces fast, so I recommend you getting to 30% haste (you don't have to, but its a QoL change) and get Melandrus' Signet (CoS / +10% increased autohit damage). I even did farm CoS normal mythic while I had an ID on it, only using tokens on endboss.

Thx for the tips guys. Well, then I guess I have to be persistant and farm more and more. I do have a guild with helpfull friends who can take me in heroic Nighthold, but I'll also try to farm some CoS plus for that ring. It seems incredibly Strong.
