I finished Pokemon Sun last month, but I didn't start the postgame until earlier this week, since I was waiting on the Pokemon Bank update to port in my collection from the previous game... only to find out that I couldn't use any of my Mega Evolutions.

This news is reassuring, though that still theoretically means I'll have to wait at least or up to seven more months before I can begin playing doubles online or in the Battle Tree with my favorite mega evolutions again. Mega Steelix and Altaria...

Fortunately, I've just bred a Bold Snowrunt and all I need to do is farm up some BP, buy the EV training items and start grinding infinite battles.

Nope. Only Pokémon caught or bred in SuMo (ones with clover marking) can be used in this competition.

They botched the leveling in Sun/Moon so badly. Really hope they do something better in the next game.

Timer balls become better than ultras after just 4 turns. Always run with those or dusk balls.

people still use ultra balls? Just quick ball, dusk then timer is all you need.

Unless you are me which then everything needs to be caught with the original pokeball because pokeballs are fugly

The only pokeballs i prefer are plain, ultra, premier (Would use cherish in a heartbeat if they were available) and occasionally quick. I despise great and master balls. I hate their little nubbles.

Minimum 5 trades. 5x rare candy 1x friend ball

Anyone know if you needed to be the OT of the 5 needed to trade for the friend ball? I traded about 10 but after thr firdt two I just traded the ones I got in return for mine.
