If Sargeras was in Illidan's body all along in the Gul'dan Mythic fight, then why does he say "he" instead of "I"?

Maybe he wants to progress his character development but adding a speech quirk ?
Actually, the "Demon within" is azzinoth. Mainly due to 2 things:
1. There are soul fragments of azzinoth that you'll have to fight, and kill.
2. Illidan killed a guy named azzinoth, harbored his blades, and comsumed his soul, which you later on become his "Demon within" thing...
The fight is actually the doomguard Azzinoth using Illidan's body. It's Illidan's demon that he absorbed, just like all DHs do. So he took the chance to steal the freed body.
It's Illidan's inner demon (Azzinoth), not Sargeras.
"He will yet claim this titan." as in "Sargeras will yet claim Azeroth."
Huh. So it was Azzinoth.
Well, good job to be honest, Blizzard.
Next thing you know, demons will absorb mortal souls so they can fight us better. They'll unleash their inner mortal.
Absolutely not. That could only hit minds of those who never bother to read anything. Who is Azzinoth to call himself Gul'dan's master?
Gul'dan's whole plan was about channeling Sargeras into Illidan's body.
It was a "too soon", so we managed to kill it. Still, every bit of evidence points to Sargaras and him only.
Might just be mistake "we will yet claim" or something yet to be opened.
Like talking about N'zoth or void lord who wants to claim Azeroth and is about to do so.
I agree, but one things doesn't make sense, why he's saying:
You topple of pawn and presume to challenge its master? Such arrogance!
I don't think that Gul'dan is his(Azzinoth) pawn?
I was thinking about the same thing.
That doesn't mean anything.
That's a pure speculation, there's no source of saying that Illidan consumed Azzinoth soul. Not saying that's impossible though.
