Wow what a simultaneously absurd and convenient standard to impose on artists that their work can never appeal to people who misinterpret their intent and are fucking insane
Your post is a joke.
You are a joke.

The difference being Pewdiepie actually has charisma and talent while this kid in the video sounds like a Grade-A, pornhub worthy, beta-male, cuck that needs to blow his nose.
There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge." - Isaac Asimov
So? You comparing Jews to Nazis?

Words have impact. If you have a large, impressionable audience you have a responsibility.
Ahh, we're in edgy territory. No wonder you have no problem with anti-semitism.
Hitler wasn't that bad, he did kill Hitler.
Anne Frankly, I'm tired of people like you bad mouthing him.
Btw those two sentences above are not serious and are intended to be humorous, but I look forward to the day when self-righteous zealots like you outline what is and is not acceptable for entertainment because of our "responsibility".
Inb4 more autistic screeching about anti-semitism
Youtube also demonetised the videos and cut the second season of his Youtube Red show (which is apparently a thing that exists).
This is the same Youtube that hosts human fecal impactions like Keemstar and Leafy.
Ironically this whole video was a joke aimed at Keemstar...
WSJ is not "fake news". *rolleyes*
It's a little hard for me to find the full text of the original article as the WSJ requires a subscription, but it appears to merely be reporting that he was dropped after it already happened, which is you know, a fact. It did show the clips that were likely the motive for Maker dropping him, and you could say it's unfair to show them without context, but it IS relevant to the story at hand, which is that Maker dropped him.
Now you might say that they're a bunch of old out of touch people who don't get Pewdiepie's sense of humour, and I'd agree, but that's not "fake news".

I still love that joke. It's got to be one of the jokes with the highest ratio of level of funny to word count ever made.

That would be a first.
The "mainstream dishonest media" didn't get him dropped. A big corporation did. The media just reported on it happening.
I bet the fat cats at Disney are thanking their lucky stars people would rather shoot the messenger than point the finger at a company founded by a literal Nazi sympathiser lol.
The irony is that Pewdiepie is not one of the shitheels, and in fact this video was a joke at the expense of one of the actual shitheels, dear old Keemstar.
But people not familiar with all this just see the headline and jump to the wrong conclusion unfortunately.

Wow, not even hiding behind these ((())) this time.
Yeah alot of people seem to miss that, including alot of sites like for example The Independent who really seems to be out to destroy pewdiepie lol, they have made tons of articles shit talking about him. I like that pewdiepie always stands up to the media though and takes no shit from them. Bullshit media should learn to get some facts before making articles for clicks.
I seriously hope that Youtube doesn't just devolve into a bunch of bitchy passive-aggressive mudslinging between disreputable wannabe celebrities, we have enough of that shit in pop culture as it is and I just want to be able to watch videos with entertaining content that I enjoy, not be bombarded with drama between a bunch of annoying pricks that we'll all have forgotten about in a few years.
I get that it's a business and that silly stunts and clickbait is going to be much more effective at raking in the dough than straightforward gaming content, which can get dry and dull much of the time. But still, a lot of people find that happy medium where they can provide interesting enough commentary and banter while still keeping the game, and not themselves, as the focus of the show. We should really be more conscious as consumers and reward those kinds of videos, not fucking shitheels like Pewdiepie.

I guess? I can't claim to follow the running feuds of youtube 'celebrities' but I feel like there's no circumstances in which paying a couple apparently unaware dudes to hold up a sign saying 'death to all jews' is an effective joke or satire of... anything.
which is kinda what I was getting at in the first place; the main lesson of the internet for a lot of folks seems to be that you can say any fucking thing you want and as long as it's followed up with 'it was just a prank bro!' then everything's all good.
"a wise man told me: don't argue with fools, cause people from a distance can't tell who is who"
You know, what i've read about him, on how he thinks things through and has a broad scope, I find the fact your using Idris Elba as your avatar to be pretty insulting to him given how utterly stupid your posts are.
But don't worry, heres something more inkeeping with your level of political agenda.

As for pewdiepie, I've never really cared much for him, never found him funny or entertaining, but he was so clearly using satirical humor in his videos and wasn't serious about any of it, the fact youtube and the newspaper that reported on him were that fucking stupid is reason more why we need things like open expression of thoughts, ideas, and humor.
