I don't really think the media is blameless - I feel like their rush to monetize the news directly led to Trump getting elected, they gave him free advertising - but I don't see how people can look at the mainstream media and Trump, and decide the media are the bigger liars.
It's like Clinton vs Trump again. As far as I've seen, the main issues people had against Clinton were emails and an under-secured embassy getting attacked. Trump's already done much more to expose classified information and he's given ISIS an actual platform to recruit on, so that seems to suggest Trump is the worse, and that's ignoring everything else he's said and done.
Yet people still think he's the better choice of the two?

I don't think you realize how popular he is. This is celebrity shit, that's no different than Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah's couch. The noise is directly tied to his popularity and the big name of Disney. There are tons of far worse video on youtube, which get attention from the media that is directly tied to their popularity. Trusting the left or trusting the right is much like trusting the media.
To act like journalist have become nothing more than money generators is extremely naive.
I don't really hold modern day journalist in much higher regard than Donald Trump himself.
Are there some trustworthy sources out there? Sure.
