Unfit? His doctor has claimed that Trump has stupendous health, better than any other president, past and future. How can he be considered unfit?

Dying of laughter. Almost literally. The only reason we give a fuck about Trump is that he is weakening the EU and NATO and we have a huge ass neighbour to the east.

Dem launches panel to review presidential removal procedures

Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) on Wednesday launched a working group to review the Constitution’s 25th Amendment, which outlines how a sitting president can be removed from office.

Blumenauer said he became concerned about the amendment's potential shortcomings after growing worried over President Trump’s behavior.

“Like many people, I’ve noticed renewed interest in the 25th Amendment, as we’ve seen erratic behavior out of the White House and inability of Donald Trump to even tell whether it rained on him during his inaugural speech and repeating false statements that are demonstrably wrong,” Blumenauer said in a House floor speech.
The 25th Amendment, established 50 years ago after President Kennedy’s assassination, states that the vice president assumes the Oval Office in the event that the president is removed from office, resigns or dies.

It stipulates that the vice president and a majority of Cabinet officers may declare the president unfit to serve. The vice president would then take over as president.

They can review it all they want. But there will not be a amendment to it without the process outlined in the Constitution for amendments. :P

It's not about making an Amendment.

I've already come out saying get used to the idea of a "President Pence" this year.
My initial thought was by the end of the year, but now...I won't be surprised if this fiasco calling himself "president" isn't going to wrap up by the end of the summer.

Where was your resistance to obama acting as a dictator, telling government officials to ignore laws? Oh I forget, it the outrage is only when it's someone you don't vote for.

Well so far, he has done what all Presidents do, absolutely nothing that affects most people on a personal level. A contractor I know still hires anyone who wants to work without checking to see if they are here legally, because...people in Texas like to work. I didn't really like anything obama did, but I did not post hundreds of posts here whining every week. I have better uses of my time then to circle jerk with whiney babies who just want to repeat what I like to hear.

No need as he didn't. Neither did Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan ... none of the did the dictator thing.

Trump is the first to do in at least 60 years or more.

Like anything, time proves what is true. But in this case, I will predict you are wrong. Let time see which of us is correct.

My instincts have been fairly spot on so far...(my timing was a bit off in regards to Flynn getting the axe, and I have a standard bet against Conway lasting the month)

I'm due to be wrong sooner or later.

No, Obama was unfit to serve. Clinton was unfit to serve. Both are traitors and criminals. Trump is the first President since Reagan who might actually make positive change in the country. For all the outrage against what Trump has done since taking office, Obama similar or even the exact same things without a peep from the MSM. With all the outrage over Flynn, people forget that Obama fired Robert Malley from his 08' campaign staff for talking to Iran and Hamas, active enemies in the Middle East at the time, then after getting elected he gave him White House appointment. His previous transgressions seemingly forgotten by Obama and ignored by the MSM.

And those talks Malley had with two of the largest terrorist sponsors in the world all happened before Obama was even elected. By comparison, Flynn talked to Russia AFTER Trump was elected. His talks are totally par for the course for any incoming administration. His apparent lying about is an issue, but the talks were not. Russia is a legit government that any Presidential staff has reason to be speaking too.

As for the subject of those talks, something the media and public only have knowledge of due to illegal wiretapping, the talk about sanctions is no different than Obama's hot mic incident where he promised the Russian ambassador that he would have "more flexibility after he was reelected" with the ambassador saying point blank he would let Putin know. Obama was trying to cut a secret deal with Russia that could only happen if he got reelected.

You are of course spouting unfounded lies. Please get out of sports team mode, and back into rational reality.

Any so called 'evidence' you have for your lies is based on third party, biased, questionable sources.

The actual reality of Trump's performance only requires you listen to TRUMP, read Trump reports, listen to Trump appointees. You require no additional creativity or news sources to know for a fact Trump is a dangerous imbecile.

That may be difficult to do since that reality is based upon alternative facts and alternative logic.

I came across this quote when reading about Trump, I think it describes his supporters perfectly.

"Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. Evil always carries within itself the germ of its own subversion in that it leaves behind in human beings at least a sense of unease. Against stupidity we are defenseless. Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed–in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical–and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. In all this the stupid person, in contrast to the malicious one, is utterly self-satisfied and, being easily irritated, becomes dangerous by going on the attack. For that reason, greater caution is called for when dealing with a stupid person than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous."
