    Macron is gona win this easily either way. Unless she face a socialist Le Pen has no shot at the second round. What people dont seems to get on this forum is how different France system is the the US. Its a possibility (in this election is 100% certain) The two canditate will be Right wing. Meaning the entire left has to pick the one that sucks the least for them. Its never gona be Le Pen.

    Imagine if Hillary was not in the election and it was only Trump vs Carson or Rubio or even Bush. That means all the democrats have to pick a republican and republicans have two choices to split their votes.

    Macron is a socialist. A former member of their party, a former minister under Hollande and France loathes Hollande.

    Fillon could have easily beaten Le Pen by portraying himself as the sane option versus the crazy National Front...but Macron? After so much that the socialists did under Hollande I'd sooner bet on a walrus becoming president of France.

    I've nothing against socialists. I'm hoping that Schultz destroys Merkel in German in point of fact, would love nothing more, but Macron's chances are much lower then people want to believe.

    Statements like this remind me of "Clinton has 99% chances to Win." Articles.

    He is a ex member of that party, he is not a socialist himself. Neither is the socialist party in France(they are social democrats).

    Which "news" outlet is going to generate the most outrage over this. Breitbart or RT?

    Although I'm not sure how your post relates to the overuse of buzzwords..

    Explained why its not the same. In France situation, its like hillary was deleted and the spot running against trump was another republican.

    Keep rooting for the fascists. Just remember that the non-Anglophone western countries tend to be less retarded. (Canada is french brah!)

    France needs a moderate right, or center candidate, with populist nationalist platform, but less radical than Le Pen.
    - Immigration control;
    - Lessen the power that Brussels has over the country;
    - Protect the French industrial and agricultural sector etc.

    Kinda like Sarcozy was, but with a new face.

    People seem to be fed up with Hollande and kinda frustrated. You don't deal with all that frustration through even more liberal bullshit.

    Especially after all the terrorist attacks.

    Does France even have anybody else as far on the right, besides Le Pen, as the Republicans?

    You don't know much about Canada outside of Quebec do ya lad. I also don't think you actually know what a fascist is.

    The word doesn't just mean someone you don't care for.

    Hes a ex party member and outspoken against immigrants just like Fillon. Its pretty much all you need to do to get to the second round in this election. Once two people with that same msg makes it to second round, everybody has to pick someone for stricker immigration either way, the left and the right.

    Canadians may speak English, but they share more values with the non-anglophone western countries. That was the point.

    Fillon certainly likes to portray himself as such, but I just don't buy it at all. I suppose we should hope Fillon wins 2nd place because Macron seems like he gets an erection from the EU.

    What values are those?

    I am curious to know the prairies are fairly right wing and Quebec is self servering. What exactly do we share with non anglophone countries?
