Another point to socialims - keeping their people in shape.

    Jealous? I know I am.

I wish that my wife loses 19 lbs, instead of gain 19 lbs.

As for the cause, blame on US banks for controlling the oil price.

    My bad folks.
    Fixed it for you.

Trickle down economy would work if people weren't greedy, socialist-based societies work if the government officials aren't greedy/enriching themselves and their family/friends. And by greed I mean craving a lot more then they'll ever need.

Bugger off. I grew up under a socialist government and we always had enough to eat. The shops may not have had what you were looking for all the time, but there was always stuff, including the basics.

This is not socialism, this is just plain bad government.

In the end the system where u rob other ppl to give something to another ppl must fail

    Living the dream

But honestly, it's sad for the people of Venezuela but if they want change they should kick their leader out already.

It was never great, but we were never anywhere close to the disaster Venezuela is these days. At any rate, we transitioned to capitalism once it was clear the Russians would not bring out the tanks if we did.

If the USA had a single payer system we wouldn't be in the shape Venezuela is and you do realize we have plenty of existing long standing social programs? It's a matter of responsibly using our money and not trying to be the world police. We have plenty of budget to go single payer.

Imagine if we didnt have all these programs. Gosh we could pay less in taxes and people could stop mooching off the government.

Look into the reasons why. My point still stands.

I know. But they are not purely capitalist either, rather they have healthy mix of both.
Issue here is not strictly socialism, or the evil Western capitalists but local idiots in power.
