Climate change has been around as long as the Earth as been around.

Yeah, it's pretty bad in China, to the point where people are actually getting lung cancer and it's spreading to neighboring countries (.i.e. Russia, Japan, N/S Korea). Even China, though, is trying to invest heavily in green, sustainable tech.
I wouldn't be surpised if China ends up leading the way in green tech and the US is regulated to taking a back seat due to businesses prioritizing themselves over the health of Americans and state of the Earth.
Not saying that businesses shouldn't look after themselves, but they have plenty of opportunities to reinvent themselves through investing and advancing sustainable technology.
Seriously though, good to see this gaining at least some traction. The question though, will enough people ever act upon global warming?
I think it would have been better to start that "At Whose expense," discussion before even fully getting people to acknowledge it simply because it might compel people to start considering it.
A big part of the resistance is a sense that the cost will fall disproportionately on some communities whose ability to weather that cost is nonexistent.
On MMO-C we learn that Anti-Fascism is locking arms with corporations, the State Department and agreeing with the CIA, But opposing the CIA and corporate America, and thinking Jews have a right to buy land and can expect tenants to pay rent THAT is ultra-Fash Nazism. Bellingcat is an MI6/CIA cut out. Clyburn Truther.
Even if we interpret this as a factual statement instead of the failed argument against current theory that it is, it's still not true if we go all the way back to planet formation.
Daily reminder that average IQ is 100 and that the IQ distribution has a slight positive skew, i.e. more than half are below 100.

Alternatively, it's 'I don't filter reality through my wallet because I'm not intellectually bankrupt'-speak.
That's part of it. Another part of it is simply the rather successful campaign to convince people there's a big scientific controversy. Because as unfortunate as it is, people on the whole do just go with whatever they think most scientists agree on.

I don't think it's trolling. It's been made abundantly clear to me in offline conversations that a lot of the reason people reject reality is because they think that if they were wrong, then it would have impacts for their bottom line. Basically, some people really are more concerned for their pocketbook than what's right.
Which is ironic given the economic penalties we'll be forced to pay if we allow for unmitigated climate change.
True. The campaign to discredit the whole thing was very successful in the United States especially. Though that might have been a hyper reaction to people believing the ax would fall on them. Namely the Koch brothers who I feel no real sadness they lose out. But even then other areas in general became convinced.

Why has climate change always occurred throughout history without humans?

That simply proves the rule "Say something 1000 times, and somebody is bound to believe it".
I'll ignore the breathtaking condescension for the moment. Even if I was to accept your chosen reality and believe evil humans are responsible, does it matter? Do you seriously believe that if we cut carbon emissions (a natural element and a vital building block for life btw) the planet will somehow magically stop warming? If we all go back to the stone age does the earth stop heating up?
No, better to blame industrialised countries so we can funnel money to third world countries in compensation for evilly warming the planet. That's the only reason the left has latched onto this farce.

It is if the levees are located in a third world country and the UN tells you its your fault because you turned the lights on and drove a car to work.
