There's been some doubt that his homosexuality is anything more than an act.

Yeah and until proof is provided that he isn't gay that's just speculation.

Ugh! He's just as bad as Bill Maher, then! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNyaMQvIsKM

Bannon's speech... his tirade against the Administrative State (really, an assault on the international order, meritocracy and free trade), is remarkably horrifying. Like, I can't even begin to describe what it makes me feel like as a conservative, seeing this shit happen at a conservative conference in front of conservatives. They should be swarming the stage and crucifying him.

Are these people just so fucking unintellectual and beaten dogs in the face of demographic trends, that they're so willing to sell their souls to the devil and abandon their principles? Because Bannon as a leading intellectual of the conservative movement is like the Pope making Richard Dawkins chair of the Doctrine of the Faith (aka the Inquisition).

The bastards need to get up and fight. You know what he is. You know where this leads. And you're still walking that path anyway?

Same thing happened to the Brownshirts.

Though I was expecting it to take a bit longer before we got to the Night of the Long Knives.

The right doesn't see elitism as a class-based, but culture-based. Basically, they consider being well-read, educated, and cosmopolitan to be grave sins. Money is irrelevant.

They can take down Spencer and Yiannopoulos, and they must, but they can’t do it without proving to the entire world that this was never about the First Amendment — it was about plausible deniability for weaponized prejudice.

Richard Spencer, a neo-Nazi and white supremacist provocateur, was reportedly thrown out of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday morning after holding court with reporters in the lobby for roughly 45 minutes. Spencer said he was credentialed for the event, and that he had purchased a ticket, but organizers reportedly had security officials strip him of his badge and escort him out of the building.

Spencer also showed up last weekend to the International Students for Liberty Conference—a libertarian youth gathering in D.C.—but was booted from the hotel premises after a crowd gathered to boo, jeer, and debate him.
You notion is based in a hilarious oversight. The notion that the GOP would ever need to do anything to get the vote of white supremacists shows a complete lack of understanding, of even the most basic political concepts. The DNC is the identity politics party so, it's pretty clear no racist was ever going to vote that way anyway. At least, not since the DNC co-opted the civil rights movement, after being the original opposition.

C-PAC is distancing themselves from the alt-right because they let the label become a racist symbol. It wasn't always that at all. Meanwhile, Steve Bannon DID speak at C-PAC anyway so....there is that.

Granted. But given how he's lied about his nationality and religion (not to mention his black/Muslim/whatever boyfriend), it's reasonable to be suspicious.

    No argument here.

Don't be silly. Are you legit trying to tip toe around, making the case that maybe some racists vote Democrat still? The racists all voted for Obama, in your mind?

This is why it's retarded to try and make hay about who people like David Duke vote for. Spoiler alert: it's always the GOP. No signaling needed. No dog whistle needed. No "ginning up support of bigots" needed.

No, I'm saying that Republicans are also engaged in identity politics. White, male identity politics to be precice. Do you honestly believe that the Democrats were the only ones talking about Muslims, Mexicans, and trans people?

Trump is new conservatism. They invited Ed Schultz to speak who is a straight up far left loon who used to be a host on MSNBC and former BFF's with Bernie before Bernie was cool. He also said the dumbest thing I've ever heard anyone say on MSNBC, still not as dumb as shit I've heard on Fox but..., "The only way to economic prosperity is through taxing the rich." Mind boggling, but makes disliking Republicans even easier for me.

Just what we need. A Legion of Losers Party.

At least Bannon is 69 and looking like he's actually decaying into ash before our very eyes.

At least he isn't wasting heart transplants that could help younger people like Cheney or Soros.

Because she represents a large enough base within the left for Clinton to use her. And if you don't think Lena and her Ilk are not far left and that what she posted on Twitter was Disgusting maybe you are proof of the Horseshoe theory.
