Except for the part where they clearly said 1 VC free rental a month is part of said paid online service.

NES and SNES VC titles are clearly connected to the subscription services, but they will sell VC titles over the eShop seperatly. Nintendo wouldn't want people to not buy their VC games.

It's in Japanese, so here's a translation (not from me, I'm just copy/pasting).

• You will need a My Nintendo account to access the Switch eShop.
• The Switch will need a day one update to access the eShop.
• You can buy games through the Nintendo homepage.
• Any remaining eShop balance you have left from the Wii U and 3DS eShops will carry over.

I read that on my lunch break today, and read it as in 8 cores of Sleep Mode, Switch was at 2% battery from full. I was really baffled. Glad to see I was wrong.

You're right on that. I just figured that since it doesn't seem like a text heavy game (from what little I've seen), I figured it would be a worldwide release.

We're just going to have to wait and seen later on Friday to see if NoA or NoE tweet it out as well.

Japan actually has a very solid launch lineup. Its the rest of the world thats suffering. Im pretty glad Fast RMX is launching though. That game looks great, even if it is a WiiU port.

Betting $14.99 but I think $19.99 is a fair price too.

How much is Fast RMX going for?
Also Specter of Torment is only 10 USD, so I think 19.99 USD would be a good price for the whole package. I know its 3 games, but the other 2 are older.

Feel 19.99 USD for Fast is a good price, but I would be 29.99. Wouldn't pay more than that though. I wish Skylanders was just a game without toys. From What ive seen it looks fun, but Im not spending 200 dollars on toys to enjoy a less than 10 hour game. If it was like 19.99 and toys were under 10 a piece I might consider it. I dont know how they can expect people to buy a full priced game and also buy 15 dollar toys.

No price for Fast RMX either from Nintendo or from the guys making it, but I took a look at Fast Racing Neo and it's $15. It may be $20 depending on how feature rich it is.

They said less than 30 dollars a while ago so it might be 24.99 too. Still fair imo.

Off topic, Rocket League would be huge for the Switch. Might actually play it then. Have it on pc, but thats not the type of game I want to play while im at my computer.

Another off topic, but considering getting a PS4 pro before the switch and waiting till theres a bundle hopefully this Summer. Not because I dont want the Switch, but because its not going to be available to me for a while (Didn't preorder in time). Also Ps4 has a metric ton of great looking exclusives coming this year.

NintenDaan has received a PR thing from Nintendo saying Snipperclips is an EU Switch launch title. 19.99 Euro. Bundle with a download code and a set of neon JoyCon. Demos incoming as well.

So... you're thinking you can't buy VC titles without paying for the online service? That would make no sense at all, online is for playing online multiplayer not for buying other stuff.

I think they will roll VC out at the sametime.

It will give you the 1 month retail and they would advertise there is others you can buy if u want. Release that system where there is a few on the store and one is a retail.

Another off topic, but considering getting a PS4 pro before the switch and waiting till theres a bundle hopefully this Summer. Not because I dont want the Switch, but because its not going to be available to me for a while (Didn't preorder in time). Also Ps4 has a metric ton of great looking exclusives coming this year.

As someone who owns a Pro and OG system I love both. The pro has great benefits depending the game and resolution you play at. Also like I posted before having 1TB HD is nice.

As for the 3DS vs New 3DS distinction for the eShop, the public aren't going to make that distinction.
To them a 3DS is a 3DS, so they'll compare the Switch's VC selection against both the 3DS and the New 3DS, which means at the moment the Switch is lacking.

I dunno man. The only time I ever shoot at health packs is when a girl starts talking at me. I don't know what's more sad, the fact that he saw a health pack and thought "I should shoot that to gain more health" or the fact that he missed.

To be honest, it highly depends on the person that previews/reviews. The guy who wrote the Botw article doesn't seem too bad judging from his earlier reviews and previews.
