    My favorites are British bulldogs and German Shepherds, but the Newfoundlands my Mom has have been great dogs, so they are up there too.

    Unfortunately there are people breeding corgis with huskies. Because a pure breed with papers don't rake in the dough like 'designer' mutts. Not that there's anything wrong with mutts as such, but a herding dog crossed with a hunter is just going to end...poorly.

    I'm all for swedish vallhunds. They also have tails. Most of the time.

    OT: I don't have any one favorite breed. There are a lot of dogs that I like for their different qualities and tempers.
