probably end of March. @FelPlague hey mate do you agree?
According to what they had said in terms of Nighthold progression being only part done when the patch hits in terms of the average player, April is definitely a reasonable thought. Problem is I could see them holding off until May if only because April is when the Ungoro Hearthstone expansion is coming out. Most of the stuff on the PTR other than the raid is fairly solid at this point.
as i said above, mostl ikely the patch will release april, with the raid releasing june to counter the FF14 thing
but as the weebo said earlier "blizzard has never competed with another company, releasing purposly on the same day, simply coincidence when it happened" even though it happens alot
While I have not kept up on Bliz's antics in this area for a long time, this has been a fairly common strategy for them over the years... even when they almost completely dominated the market. In fact, the friends of mine that pointed this out to me did so during Vanilla, so the practice goes back that far.
To be fair here, this is not even remotely something that just Bliz does (and it not exclusive to the gaming industry). It is a very-very common business practice.
Tomb won't release yet with the patch, but honestly there's not too much more to add to anything in this patch before it is complete.
They're still adding some icons and rewards, but a lot of it is already in the balancing phase. Updates after this will probably see a lot of polishing.
My gut says they'll release in 6 weeks. But I am often a little too positive, so my guess will be 7.
