I'd also guess world boss mounts like Galleon and Sha. Those had a stupid low drop rate

ohnestly you have to look at thge low % chance for mounts to drop.

and the mount of the playerbase that has them.

ohnestly i would have to go with

Onyxian Drake, or Mims Head.

then after that maybe azure drake.

Ashes would have been here, but i see it so often now its not funny, had a train in dal with about 50 people with it, not during peak time.

Heavenly Onyx - Sha Mount, Thundering Cobalt - Nalak Mount, Big Love Rocket, Solar Spirehawk - Rukhmar Mount, by far some of the most rarest Flyers currently.

Edit: I guess you could count the Plagued Proto seeing as it can pop on BMAH now, a very rare chance at that

Flying mounts from vanilla are rare indeed. As in, non existent.

Time Lost Proto and Phosphorescent are pretty rare. And they're a lot harder to get these days. Al'ar, Mimiron, and Invincible are the new Bronze Drakes, though.

I'd also say Ember Wyrm is rarer than it seems; it's just that tryhards like to show it off (lol) so it seems like it's everywhere at the moment. And yes, I have it, so not salty. Just amused.

if we count mounts that don't exist anymore than the Zulian Tiger from the original ZG is up there. I see it from time to time much more than most of these other examples but it's still pretty rare

You can buy the Zulian tiger from the BMAH now but it goes for insane gold amounts.
