I like how they used Linux in the benchmarks, and a green background to represent AMD's machine opposed to the red they've been using after their graphical division became more important than the CPU one.

I hardly imagine they'd be using Windows 10 Home in datacenters

I responded, and if they come through I'm gone because "fuck you, I want a god damn puppy."

What the actual f-? Like, I knew that other companies had different benefits, but that go-carts? That wasn't even remotely in the possibility space I considered.

Man, I've only ever grown more facial hair. I started clean shaven until I exited college. Then I grew a soul patch, then a goatee, now a full beard which I've had for, 5-6 year now I think? It was really funny when my work badge had an old picture when I was clean shaven. :P

I haven't benchmarked a PC in so long, I have no idea what that score means! Well, better than 70% of users, according to the link, but yeah. Kind of amazing a 970 can still pull that kind of weight - either that or it just shows how weak the average person's PC is.

Did you add any special kind of cooling to OC it like that? And by how much did you OC it? Specifics, man!

Actually I don't. I'll get you some more specific numbers @Alindra later, in the middle of a lot of stuff atm. But let's just say if I recall right I added 500-1000 points onto my first gtx 970 score, but don't quote me on that.

Sadly 1500mhz is definitely a no-go.

I've been watching too much Chicago Fire lately, I want to just shut off that whole circuit but the only person in the house who knows which circuit it is and what else is on it? Is in bed asleep: my dad.

The other switch on the very same board for the front hall light did work and that light turned on just fine... so... One cable being chewed on? Hmm. I kinda just want to call the local FD and get their take of the situation. Maybe I will tomorrow.
