Those damn legendaries...

I play Havoc and we progres mythic NH currently 3/10 just before Krosus kill. We just needed a little more dps so I was pumped to get a new legendary this week so we could finally kill it. Well, my legendaries and how they dropped in order:

1st - Prydaz (before buff)
2nd - Achor
3rd - Loramus (right after momentum spec nerf)
4th - Raddon (finaly somewhat decent so I went demonic)
5th - Kil'Jaden (switched back to single target spec for NH)
and today's 6th - Mo'gar bracers...

Now I'm using Kil'Jaden and Prydaz as it sims the best.

To top it all off, our guild leader made a DH alt 3 weeks ago and got Anger and Cindaria in first 2 weeks and now does the same dmg as I in raids. Meh. I just wish I could get my hands on Anger or shoulders before Tomb comes up. I wish you guys more luck with this RNG, stay strong, it sucks.

I know the feeling of not getting what you want I just got anger yesterday and it was my 8th legendary.

What the people in my guild and me found is that if you are clearing all the possible max level content, and I mean EN, ToV, NH on all difficulties that you can. I did LFR, Normal, Heroic, and NH mythic in the last 3 weeks and some mythic+ dungeons not a lot just enough to get your weekly chest, you will get a legendary every 7-10 days with average luck, 14 days at most.

I got 3 legendaries in the past 3 weeks, exactly 7 days apart between the first and second and 8 days between the second and the third. Other people in my guild are observing the same thing, so it's not just my "insane luck". So if you are sitting on 6 now, you can probably get even to 9-10 before 7.2 hits. So don't fret all you need will eventually drop.

well. i played legion every day since release. My friends have 4-7 legendaries each on their mains. I have 2. We do the same content. Everything they have done i have done with them...

On my DH alt 890 ilvl, legendaries in order - Bracers, Boots and then Anger of the Half-Giants. On my main I have BiS legendaries and my second alt I've got only good legendaries. I've never got a Prydaz or Sephuz or any of that shit, it's been pretty good for me.

I started out this expansion playing vengeance, just cos I enjoy solo'ing.
Then leveled only the tank artifact, ran only with tank loot spec, got it as quick as possible to all traits, and was quite slow to get my first legendary.

Finally it dropped, the first orange Pop-up, to be honest I hadn't really wished for any particular even, just knew I didn't want Seph.
What is it that drops, in my shock of just getting a legendary, I kinda dont really even register what it was I just got.
Open up bags, look for what I just got.. Legendary ... Ring ... Anger of the Half-Giants.. -Phew atleast not Sephuz.
But it does zilch for vengeance.. Well it was an awesome upgrade anyway.
Time goes and I suddenly get a secondary legendary (still Vengeance, with tank loot spec) - This time its Cinidaria, the symbiote.
Yay, atleast it helps me get good agro fast, but never really had problems with that in the first place..

End of story is kinda obvious, I felt forced to go Havoc and are now happy running as dps, even though I got quite behind for a little while on the artifact.

Although to be honest I did get AOTHG as my 2nd legendary so that's pretty nice.

Belt, Trinket and Shoulders are missing. I'm shuffling the prydaz, sephuz and raddon's depending on the fight but I really want those damn shoulders.

I have Cinidaria and it's nothing but a padding tool. Since we have the strongest opener in game, 30% it gives is a big number but let me ask you: Do you really think that legendary is any useful? Yeah you get insanely high opener, but it's totally irrelevant. You will see yourself higher on the meters which is cool if you're a DPS whore but that damage means absolutely nothing. First 10% of the boss's HP is when nothing important happens, it's not a final push/burn/execute which means a difference between a kill and a wipe. It's just a handy padding tool that aligns well with all our CD's, hero at pull and lets us think we are gods for the first 20 seconds. Which is going to be more and more irrelevant as time passes by and people get more gear because that top 10% hp is gonna last like 5 seconds. Completely useless and garbage legendary if you ask me, would trade for ring/shoulders any day.

RetPal: I got all the generic Leg (Boots, neck, ring) at first, which I ironically predicted as a joke... but it did happened. Then the ring. 1 month ago the belt, and 2 weeks ago the Helm. still waiting for that Cloak + Shoulders. A guildmate who rerolled RetPal got his Belt/Ring/Cloak in a month....

Tank Druid: 1st Alt I started. Im stuck to 1 legendary (Bracers....). I do all my Expedition Chest, all LFR, WorldBosses, it just doesnt want to drop. And Ive been playing it since the end of the 1st month of Legion to farm herbs.

Elem Sham: 3rd Alt, already at 4 Leg (Legs, Belt, Boots, and that ring with cc proc) and I farm less than my Druid alt...

That RNG is frustrating. Whats more frustrating is that Leg can be so strong, that without it you'll fell worthless.


We have 2 DH in our roaster. One had the generic DPS belt, the other didnt. Belt DH was making fun of the other one because he was always ahead in DPS (if not first because the pull he make is just insane) but was pretending it was all about skills. When the other DH finally got his belt, things got reversed and he was now leading. Who's laughing now?

I play often and my DH has been kind of my main this entire expansion. Still only at 2 legendaries (Vengeance) - the neck and the gloves. I would love more options.

Can't really relate, I've been gifted with RNG this expansion.

1st leg: AOTHG after about 2-3 days after hitting 110
2nd leg: Prydaz after about 3 days after getting AOTGH

And I have only finished these dungeons:
- Eye of Azshara: Normal x1, Heroic x2, Mythic x3
- Darkheart Thicket: Normal x1, Heroic x3, Mythic x1
- Neltharion's Lair: Normal x1, Heroic x4, Mythic x2
- Trial of Valor: Normal x1, Heroic x3, Mythic x6
- Assault on the Violet Hold: Heroic x3, Mythic x1
- Vault of the Wardens: Heroic x2, Mythic x5
- Black Rook Hold: Heroic x3, Mythic x2
- Maw of Souls: Heroic x3, Mythic x3
- Karazhan Mythic: x1
- Emerald Nightmare: LFR x1
- Nighthold: LFR x2, Normal x1

No idea how many world quests I did, but somewhere around 300 maybe.
I pray for either the Shoulders or the Belt for my next legendary.

I can't even equip my 2nd legendary yet, I still have 9 days to wait for the tech to finish, lol.

Playing VDH, wednesday going for the classic Ursoc mythic PUG (my guild never saw the trinket drop, not a single time when doing EN, no matter the difficulty).

Predicted the trinket to friends, and said "you'll see my next legendary will drop too as I switch to DPS spec for this boss only"

Got the trinket, and the legendary shoulders too

And believe it or not, same day finally got the vengeance hidden artifact skin.

I have all the good ones except ring now, guess I can't really complain, and I guess it sort of gives me something to look forward to still and a reason to keep running old content even if I AP-capped both specs months ago. Also been very lucky with titan/warforging on good items this expansion, especially trinkets.

On main: 1-Chest 2-Belt 3-Bracers 4-Head 5-Prydaz 6-Trinket 7-Shoulders
Alt dh: 1-Head 2-Bracers

Seems every single random DH I inspect in LFR or pugs has the ring tho. Down to 1/3 chance of getting AoHG now, so I will get it eventually!
Got to try it for a while on PTR while it was still in it's best state, and it was like playing a new spec with all the fury. As far as I've heard it's not that insane anymore, at least thats what I keep telling myself.
