My favorite part of all this is that (as proven by the e-mails) is that the DNC colluded with Hillary to beat Sanders. Yet, Sanders would have beat Trump!

So basically the DNC colluded with Hillary to give the election to Trump. And the Dem faithful still, somehow, support the DNC! There's your problem right there.

Who would vote to elect people like that? You won't get any mid of the road Dems or independents, you will only get the more radical wing of the party to support something like that. That is what is on display right now.

For any once of credibility to return to that party, anyone involved in that- would have to admit it and step down. Look, I get what you're saying. I really do. But just think over the past eight years, at all the democrats in office who think guns should be banned. I don't recall saying anything to the effect of it being impossible to have legitimate grievances with the Democrats, only that the current level of unpopularity is a reflection of widespread voter ineptitude, which is a remark very much made with consideration as to the current policies and offerings of the Republicans for those same people. It is not to suggest that the Democrats are perfect or that their shit doesn't stink, and it is very much a mistake to think I have any real love for either of the two major parties (and I've very clearly stated my views on both repeatedly on this board), only that even if one is to frame the dilemma of who to vote for as deciding between the lesser of two evils, it should be quite clear for all of those "disgruntled workers" the Republicans, not even the non-Republican Republican, are not and never will be their friends.

Furthermore, I actually predicted Trump would win a few days before the election when the emails made their way back into the news. I harbored doubts throughout the entire election because as much as I didn't want to think the electorate would actually fail to hit such a lazily lobbed softball, I knew better. These things are never sure and I am very well aware of the team sports aspect. So I have no idea what people you're talking about, but I am not among them. But hey, rather than ask if what I'm saying has any merit, it's probably easier to just tell me what a stuck up asshole I am. Wouldn't want to do any self-reflection, mirite?

The Dems are failing because they have become the party of the extreme left. The mainstream Democratic Party has positioned itself as the left equivalent of Brietbart or Infowars, two organizations that live on the fringe right of the Republican Party.

People largely don't take Brietbart or Infowars seriously because of their over the top pandering and alarmism of every conservative topic; thats the same reason the Democratic Party is no longer being taken seriously. It's obsession with identity politics and irrational outrage at benign "issues" is a ploy that most American's are turned off by, despite what the Democratic surrogate mainstream media tries to make them believe.
