    PC budget build for wow

    Hi

I want to buy a pc part by part and want some tips regarding the build i'm looking to buy, since this is my first time and I don't have much experience picking brands

    I live in Spain

My budget has to be less than 700€, taking in account that i'll have a chance to get some upgrades in the future (more RAM, a new GPU, etc.)

My main purpose is to play WoW at a reasonable fps and play some 2016 AAA titles too (Overwatch, Paladins, ARK, etc.)

I'm really not interested in a SSD disk by the moment, so I can cut a little from that.

Please, take note that right now I'm playing Wow in an AMD A10 without any dedicated GPU, so the upgrade for getting this build, I' think will be great

Your Price picker list isn't including the cost of the Mother Board or a Windows key for some reason. Do you already have them..? If not you're going to go over the 700 euro limit you set.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

    CPU: Intel Core i5-7600 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (€225.00 @ Amazon Espana)
Motherboard: ASRock B250M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (€82.47 @ Amazon Espana)
    Memory: Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory (€61.19 @ Amazon Espana)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (€50.04 @ Amazon Espana)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Video Card (€168.71 @ Amazon Espana)
Case: Zalman ZM-T3 MicroATX Mini Tower Case (€31.01 @ Amazon Espana)

    Part reasoning:

CPU: The i5 7600 is, in every way you'll care about, better than the 7500. And €20 cheaper to boot!
Mobo: The cheapest one with the stuff you need. No frills. Is what it is.
Memory: It's cheap. What you need and nothing you don't. Speed is a little low but did I mention it was cheap?
Storage: Yup. A WD Blue. /yawn. Get an SSD asap. First upgrade. I know you say you don't care. But you will once you have one. Trust me.
Video Card: Cheapest 1050ti. I like MSI.
Case: Cheapest one that will fit your parts. Expect a no frills experience. Only one included fan but your system but should be fine.
Power Supply: Good brand. Five bucks cheaper than the Seasonic you had.
Windows Key: From a 3rd party seller. Just search for Kinguin. Buy the €1 protection.

This will run WoW quite nicely. Your CPU will last a few years and you can upgrade case / ram / etc as funds allow.
I sat alone in the dark one night, tuning in by remote.
I found a preacher who spoke of the light, but there was Brimstone in his throat.
He'd show me the way, according to him, in return for my personal check.
I flipped my channel back to CNN and lit another cigarette.

Honestly for purely gaming I'd go with a 7100. This is a budget build purely for gaming, he honestly doesn't need the 4 cores for anything specific. And even if he does later down the line that's 100$ extra put towards a 7600k. Or even better the G4560. He really has no need from what I can tell for a 7600 or a 7500. Put the extra money towards a better GPU even.

It seems the amazon prices that I saw when I made the list are very different than real ones
For example, the i5-7500 is right now at 209€, not 243€...

Regarding the cores number, if i'm only going to use the PC for gaming, you recommend an i3-7100?

I will not need a Windows Key but thanks for pointing that out.

The motherboard i want is this one:

What's the difference between an H2V and a HDV?

    Thanks

If you can buy an i5 now there is no reason to get an i3. When kaby i3's are over 150euros no, definately not a good buy. The older i3 6100 was amazing for its money (~110euro). After a few years is easier to upgrade the gpu that you would probably have to anyway rather than cpu. ovm's build is good, you could save some money and fit the psu i linked below to his built.

Anyway, i would say that if you could save 100euro more you will get further and save money in the long run. A gtx1050, ti or not won't hold for much.
For around 800 i'd look something like the following:

    CPU: Intel Core i5-7600 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (€225.00 @ Amazon Espana)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (€86.14 @ Amazon Espana)
    Memory: G.Skill Aegis 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (€66.00 @ Amazon Espana)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (€49.00 @ Amazon Espana)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB Windforce OC Video Card (€229.00 @ Amazon Espana)
Case: Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mini Tower Case (€49.44 @ Amazon Espana)
Power Supply: XFX ProSeries 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (€74.60 @ Amazon Espana)

A 65 € Pentium G4560 runs WoW and most other games just fine and it's easy to replace later when games start to require more cores. I have one and it really is an amazing budget CPU.

    Hi, thanks for the tips

Regarding the GPU, since i can save the windows key, would you recommend to go for a rx 480 8gb from msi?
Or is there really no difference between that and a 1060 3gb?

    https://www.amazon.es/MSI-RX-480-ARM...eywords=RX+480

    (480 would be 244€)

The 480 8gb is an all around better card and should serve you well. If you was ONLY playing WoW I would advise you get whichever was cheaper. But since you do play triple A games then I believe the 480 will serve you better.

Ok then, thanks for the advice!

If you only play WoW you really want a CPU with a high IPS, so highest Clock you can get. Save on the GPU and get a OC'able CPU.

Higher RAM speed improves performance in CPU bound games, so its worth getting higher speed RAM since it doesn't cost much more.

The 7600 and the B250M supports 2400 Mhz so stick with that.
