General Rules

This is a fairly basic game with a couple twists. There have been modifications to roles due to the Items being part of the play. These changes should not be considered bastardization though. Days will last around 48 hours and nights around 24 hours. Characters/Role were randomized so it will be of no use to try and use character names to tie to factions/powers.

Voting:

During the day phase, each player can place their vote on any player of choice. To do so, simply put the following in bold on a separate line:

vote: Kryllian

You can change your vote as many times you want, and you can remove your vote using

unvote

Unvoting is not required before re-voting, but much appreciated.

You can also vote for a no-lynch. This works like this.

vote: no-lynch

If "no-lynch" is the winning option, then no player will be lynched that day phase.

Lynching:

The moment any player (or "no-lynch") reaches the lynch threshold (half the players rounded down, plus one), the day ends. No more votes are counted. After that, "dusk" begins, during which you are allowed to talk as much as you want but votes are meaningless. Items used and posts made during this time will count toward the final day net posts per person. Dusk lasts until the gameday is formally ended by a moderator, at which point it is night.


Items

Along the way you may receive a notice in your QT that you have picked up an item. These items can be used on yourself or against other players to affect their daily post counts. To use an item you can either bold post in the thread (if you're feeling vindictive and want the player to know) or in the QT. If posted in game the mod will confirm the action in thread. If posted in QT the mod will notify the victim/player in their QT. Items can be used at any time but you can only hold one item at a time and items used at night would take the place of any night actions you have!

Daily Post Counts will be made by the mod along with the vote counts so you know where you stand.

Items (some are more common than others...)

Item	Benefit
Banana peel	Throw at a person, they lose one post
Green Shell	Either keep to protect yourself against another item to limit your loss to one post or throw at a person, they lose three posts
Red Shell	Either keep to protect yourself against another item or throw at a person, they lose five posts
Mushroom	Use on self to gain three posts
Gold Shroom	Use on self to gain five posts
Boo	Steal another persons item
Fake Box	lose 5 posts
Star	Day - Gain 10 posts and anyone you pass on the list lose 3 posts / Night become immune to any night items (but not role actions) going your way
Blue Shell	Targets the player with the most posts and they lose 10 posts
Bullet Bill	Gain 20 posts and anyone you pass loses 5 posts
POW Box	All other players lose 5 posts

At the end of a night phase, if a person winds up with a net negative post count for that day (only in game posts and not QT posts are counted) then they will fall off the track and be removed from the game due to bad driving skills. If more than one person is in negative then the person farthest in the hole will be removed and the other player(s) warned they were in jeopardy. If there is a tie, then the person with the fewest overall game net posts will be removed and the other player(s) warned they were in jeopardy.

The post count is then reset to zero for all remaining players the next day phase.

Game End

The game will not end when one team outnumbers the other team(s). A factions (Town, Mafia, Wolf, SK, etc.) will win but there will also be one grand champion who manages to eliminate everyone else. So if town eliminates all the scum be prepared to fight for personal glory and make bargains to eliminate your fellow townies. The same applies if scum outnumber town. It might be worth keeping that last townie around and convincing them to help eliminate your former teammates.

N2 - Reticence, playing Lakitu a town lifter, discovered his steering wheel and shifter were missing

D3 - Graeham, playing Link a Town Deputy Cop, was disqualified.
N3 - Bombercloner, playing Mario the Town Cop, had his car bombed.

D4 - Virothe, playing Dry Bones the Town Doc, was picked apart by players and couldn't continue racing
N4 - Danner, playing Waluigi the town item watcher, had his car engine seize up due to it missing oil.

D5 - Crackleslap, playing Daisy a VT, was knocked into the air a little too high.
N5 - Dupti, playing Luigi a VT, had his engine completely removed
N5 - Marack, playing Toad a VT never had a chance to post and got eaten by a Chomp Chain due to inactivity.

D5 - Crissi, playing Peach the Mafia Godmother placed 3rd
D5 - Monkz, playing Yoshi a town VT took 2nd
D5 - Xanjori, playing Koopa Troopa a Mafia Goon was named Grand Champion!
