Not relevant... we need to stop coming up with all these furfies, it is only stuff Trump knows he did about that will hang him.

Such as KNOWINGLY renting space in one of his towers to the actual Chinese Government (via their development bank).

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

Trump orders Chinese for dinner, is he supporting China's interest? more at 10!

Big deal he sold an apartment, the ONLY way this would ever be suspicious is if it was sold for 16Mil while being valued substantially lower.

Suspicious? That doesn't even matter. When a person becomes president of the United States, they become the face of the United States -- for better or for worse. Part of the job package is that one becomes Brand USA. That's the Donald's full time job now. It involves things like avoiding the appearance of impropriety through being Brand Trump.

For the purpose of my concern, as set out above, there is no distinction because he is specifically the face of the Trump brand and makes a point of it. He has failed to take the necessary steps to clearly disengage himself, his family, and his close confidants from things that comingle his political and commercial identities.

In this case, as noted in the Mother Jones article:
As Mother Jones first reported, Chen runs a business consulting firm, Global Alliance Associates, which specializes in linking US businesses seeking deals in China with the country's top power brokers. "As counselors in consummating the right relationships—quite simply—we provide access," Chen's firm boasts on its website.
    Further:
To sum up: An influence-peddler who works with a princeling tied to Chinese military intelligence placed $15.8 million in the pockets of the president of the United States.

Mark Stokes, executive director of the Project 2049 Institute, a Virginia-based think tank that focuses on national security policy with respect to Asia, says CAIFC's leadership consists largely of retired (and some current) Chinese military and government officials. Stokes, who has written about Chinese political warfare, says CAIFC has become "an important channel of access to [Chinese Communist Party] princelings." He adds that "by influencing perceptions" of China (especially in connection to controversial issues, such as China's stance toward Taiwan), CAIFC hopes to "influence policies of foreign governments, particularly related to defense and national security."

    Let's look at that further:
While China’s foreign policy has traditionally relied on economic leverage and “soft power” diplomacy as its primary means of power projection, Beijing has also been actively exploiting concepts associated with strategic information operations as a means to directly influence the process and outcomes in areas of strategic competition.

In 2003, the Central Military Commission (CMC) approved the guiding conceptual umbrella for information operations for the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) – the “Three Warfares” (san zhong zhanfa). The concept is based on three mutually reinforcing strategies: (1) the coordinated use of strategic psychological operations; (2) overt and covert media manipulation; and (3) legal warfare designed to manipulate strategies, defense policies, and perceptions of target audiences abroad.
The 311 Base has served as a de-facto military unit cover designator (MUCD) for a number of GPD-LD’s affiliated civilian and business platforms working to “promote Chinese culture” abroad. These include the China Association for Promotion of Chinese Culture (CAPCC); China Association for Friendly International Contacts (CAIFC); China-U.S. Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), The Centre for Peace and Development Studies (CPDS), External Propaganda Bureau (EPB), and China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC).
What is one example of how they work?

China’s strategic influence operations are also increasingly targeting the European Union, particularly countries of Central-Eastern Europe that are part of China’s “16+1” regional cooperation formula. Beijing views the region as an important bridgehead for its further economic expansion in Europe. According to the 2014 annual report of the BIS counter-intelligence in the Czech Republic, China’s administration and its intelligence services put an emphasis on gaining influence over Czech political and state structures and on gathering political intelligence, with active participation by select Czech elites, including politicians and state officials.

These reports refer to the activities of the China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC) – a Hong Kong registered non-governmental organization, considered a political arm of its holding subsidiary the China Huaxin Energy Co. Ltd. – a multibillion-dollar energy conglomerate with companies based in Hong Kong, Singapore, and mainland China. Over the past three years, CEFC has embarked on acquisitions in the Czech Republic, including the purchase of representative real estate near the Presidential Office. These “investments” have served as initial gateways to the highest political elites in the country. Indeed, CEFC’s chairman Ye Jianming was named an official adviser by the Czech president.

Now, I gather my microwave is spying on me, so I'd better post this before it catches on.
With COVID-19 making its impact on our lives, I have decided that I shall hang in there for my remaining days, skip some meals, try to get children to experiment with making henna patterns on their skin, and plant some trees. You know -- live, fast, dye young, and leave a pretty copse. I feel like I may not have that quite right.

    He sold an apartment...

It's his private property not government property, he could sell it to whoever he wants. You expect him to send the FBI to investigate every one he wants to sell something to, where would we draw the line? Then we would get news reports of him using government programs to conduct personal business.

Pshhhh. That\s nothing. I hear a guy who cut Obamas hair has a cousin, whos grandfather was in the KKK.... It\s so funny when ppl try to use Six degrees of separation to blast politicians.

Did he sell it for drastically more or less than the property was worth? If it was sold at roughly market value, than there is no issue as I see it. It's nothing compared to Hillary as Secretary of State doing favors for countries donating millions to the Clinton foundation. There she really was selling access to the office. This is just a property tycoon selling property at value.

Simply put, Donald Trump can, President Trump can't. That's part of moving into politics and it applies both up and down the food chain.

If he wanted to be a private citizen he shouldn't have run for office. He can always quit.

If he sold her a puppy would you still feel that way?

He sold property that he owned big deal, shes not a terrorist or convicted felon so who cares. If there was something shady other than her working for China it would of been in the article.

It's not about boogeymen. It's about money and power. If foreign governments are attempting to pay off our politicians for favors, the american public loses. Do you think that your vote can be worth more than than the hundreds of millions of dollars foreign governments can spend on bribes? Take a look at how government in Russia and China operates. Please tell me you don't want to see that here in America.

Because governments don't just donate money to foreign charities for no reason? If the US ever donated taxpayer money to a foreign charity I would be pissed. If a government is going to spend money they would be spending it on improving the lives of their citizens. Donating to charity you have no control over what that money ends up being used for. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that these foreign governments were getting a little something extra in return for their donations.

You don't think a president having a personal financial stake in good personal relations with a rival nation is a bad thing?

    Jesus christ some people.

I like how the buyer is suddenly a rival nation.

    Holy macaroni some people.
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

This isn't a big deal, because it isn't even a new thing.

The Chinese state bank is already Trump Tower's biggest lessee.

He does already have a significantly above market value sale to a Russian oligarch. Granted, it was almost a decade ago, so it could easily be rather meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

Please, I have a hard time taking seriously anyone who still types out lol and uses MSM. It is a sub issue tied to the whole Emoluments Clause problem and that's already an ongoing discussion.
..You think the MSM would hide a huge story that could really hurt Trump? Cause I'm pretty sure that's a first. And you're belittling the MSM while quoting a Mother Jones story. If that doesn't scream of irony I don't know what does.
