See, I know its a joke, but this could also be a serious topic of its own. Lets say someone has a swastika on their wrist or forehead, or 'kill or jews' or 'kill all gays' tattooed on the back of their bald head, or a pair of big tits on their forearm, the fact someone would be stupid enough to have that done, means anyone has the right not to hire them.
That said, if its just tattoo art without any offensive or suggestive symbolism, I don't see the problem.

Yes. Yes there are. Why are you surprised? I've been in offices that have a wide variety of religions symbols on display. Why should this surprise you?
Its kinda a nice thing that some people can sit next to a Jew, a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist, and an Atheist not be at each others throats get there work done and go home to their families.
Not only is this nothing but a semantic argument, but you somehow failed to realize undressing already applies to dress code. If you come to work in a coat on top of your suit and the dress code is suit, then an employer can tell you to undress from the coat or punish you for not abiding by the dress code.
Just to be clear, I am not against any of those, but my comment just goes to show that THIS law, that allows employers to enforce what's allowed and what is not...has very high potential to lead to more dumb situations.
To take the example of the statue, of course it doesn't do anything to anyone...but if I was an employer, I would enforce equity rules. That's just me.
Yes, there's indeed a line that needs to be drawn. Perhaps it's best to remove everything and save yourself a lot of trouble. On the other hand, it just seems absolutely impossible to prevent every single religious signs, as even modern cultural practices has religious roots (christmas comes to mind, with the christmas tree). Christmas may have lost its religious meaning a few decades ago, but some people still use it in a christian fashion.
I don't know what I'd do in face of a situation like that.

Political left, right similarly motivated to avoid rival views
[...] we have an intolerance for ideas and evidence that don’t fit a certain ideology. I’m also not saying that we should restrict people to certain gender roles; I’m advocating for quite the opposite: treat people as individuals, not as just another member of their group (tribalism)..
Actually if you go to makka (The Muslims holy city) a women has to show her face or it does not count as a deed. So no it is not religious

So this isn't an attack on religion this is an attack on culture taking women right to wear a burqua is oppressing them and yes forcing them is to but the reason they are both oppressing is the lack of choice.
Be Free! <3
Yeah.
And I wasn't really joking. "Banning visible tattoos" is just a simple way to avoid a judgment call. It's a concern for the employer (legally) if employees are uncomfortable with it, and a concern for the business if customers are uncomfortable with it.
When I bring the same logic to mandatory clothing, though, it's a bit different. Can I force an observant Jew to shave the corners of his face? I don't think I really can unless facial hair in general is also banned.
see this is where the line of acceptability is drawn. I think anyone has the right to practice whatever religion they want in their own home or place of worship. However outside of that anyone should adhere to the standards and practices of any non religious setting, be it a workplace, school, college, hospital or so on.
If you have a group of nudists, people who are most comfortable naked in their own home or at nudist sites, you don't hear nudists protesting the right to go completely bollock naked in the workplace, they understand the standards and practices in the rest of society and don't do it. So when you have religious people protesting the right to have all forms of religious symbolism in a workplace including what they wear, they are not following the standards and practices of the rest of society.

I'm not an "SJW" or "socialist" or whatever other strawman you'd like to erect for me.
I just hate idiots and enjoy dismantling them on the internet.
And blow your nose at least.

Wallowing in self pity over how "persecuted" you are, you mean.
No, I do understand that... but I also accept that if you can start firing people because their race/religion doesn't abide by your "dress code", that becomes an issue.
"Sorry, our dress code says no blacks allowed. Please go home and change and we'll consider letting you work here."
I see some who have caught onto the truth.. obviously vampires have taken over the EU and are getting trying to get rid of religious symbols.. shame I live where I do.. can't even use the sun to defend myself. Stupid mythical ball of fire that burns people, never around when you need it.
Seriously though, was already under the impression an employer could decide to not to allow religious stuff on their premises. Though I prefer giving people a choice, if they want to wear their thing go ahead. No face covering, same reason for no motor cycle helmets being worn indoors.
