If you're dealing with voter demographics, pointing out race seems like a logical thing to do. Rural areas are more likely to be white, and that's where Trump did better. Republicans do terrible with minority voters, especially Latinos and black people./ That's not racist, and it's not race baiting. It's pointing out the statistics from the election. Trump won, because he was able to get a larger portion of the rural white vote than expected.
