What if the legion didn't exist?

How would azeroth be like if the legion didn't exist, demons do exist but lets say they rejected sargeras/he failed to control all of the demons.

It would likely be exactly as it was in the days before WC1 and continuing that way until Deathwing destroyed everything the end.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
    [What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."

there wouldnt have been a War of the Ancients so Azeroth would be alot different than it is now

The Pantheon would not have died, and would probably have come back to check on Azeroth from time to time, so it's likely that Loken's corruption was prevented/noticed, and the curse of flesh was not spread as much.

no legion -> no WotA -> no implosion of the WoE -> azeroth would still have its pangea kalimdor with the night elven empire intact.
and the titans wouldnt be dead, so i guess they'd come visit sometime.

Titan world would be a sweet orgy 24/7 that everyone would be trying to get in to.

If Sargeras shattered Mardum and got corrupted by the Fel, then events would've probably proceeded not too dissimilar from how they have now - even if the demons didn't choose to serve him it wouldn't be too much of an issue for Sargeras to suborn other races in the physical universe to his cause. If Sargeras didn't shatter Mardum and become corrupted then all bets are off - the Pantheon and/or Aggramar might've been able to reason with him or he may have pursued a different path altogether.

Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

You're thinking too little back. No Legion = no War of the Ancients. Considering that the Kaldorei Empire was still growing, even if slower, this means that there's a high chance that they would have pushed back the trolls to extinction or near-extinction. They were closing on all the other big titan facilities, so... they'd have gotten even more power. Maybe used the earthen and iron vrykul as actual sentries of sorts somehow and started using the tauren and furbolgs as beasts of burden.
In the end, the Kaldorei Empire... wasn't that nice either, and with Azshara getting bored, she'd have considered other races as mere tools of her enjoyment. In the end, she did so to her own people when she felt the prospect of greater power.

Eventually, the Kaldorei Empire would have conquered most or the entire planet and either would have started trying to somehow reach other worlds using titan technology or started a civil war if Azshara would have gotten too bored and decided to clear the land a bit of all the rabble.

Assuming sargeras does not fall to corruption it is quite likely that the titans try rallying all the mortals races of the universe to oppose the void.

dimensius eventually shows up and devours azeroth.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.

With no Shadow Council to bind Murmur, he continues on a rampage that erases Azeroth from existence.

It would probably be re-originated because Loken/Algalon got tired of Azshara trashing the planet.

In hindsight, was stopping Algalon from re-originating the planet a bad idea?

First of all, we would have no War of the Ancients as Sargeras would not be trying to use the Well of Eternity to come to Azeroth. Which means that the Sundering doesn't occur and Azeroth would still be a single, unbroken continent.

But let's say the Sundering occurred for some reason anyway (eg. Old Gods and Deathwing), then:

We would have no corruption of the Orcs so the Orcs would not invade Azeroth. Medivh would not be corrupted, and continue to serve as the Guardian.

No Burning Legion means that there is no Scourge too, so none of the Human Kingdoms would fall. The High Elf civilization of Quel'thalas will also not fall, and will not succumb to Fel corruption. Prince Kael'thas will still be the king of the High Elves.

Sargeras would eventually find "normal" races willing to follow him, and then demonize them, like he did to Eredar.

Him creating the Burning Legion from the demons he imprisoned is probably mostly a matter of convenience. They were numerous, strong, gathered in one place, and were easy to intimidate/motivate. They also possesed inherent thirst for destruction. A perfect army if you need one to destroy the Universe.

No, it was a pretty good idea to stop it. Without the Titans and with the Keepers mostly corrupted or weakened, the reorigination would've wiped out the mortal races. Then there would be no one to defend the World Soul and fight the Legion and the Old Gods.

    If the Legion didn't exist...

A Whole FUCK TON of World's would still be Alive by Now, Including Argus...

    But

    A Void titan would Arive

    And fuck us all up.

Cause, without the Legion, there'd be No horde. And with No Horde/Draenei, there'd be NO Void Knowledge....

It would have wiped out the Old Gods. There'd be nobody to summon the Legion, who'd have to get to Azeroth the long way.

    ...No?

He would become The Old Gods puppet...
