    Spellblade Aluriel Nerf

    She lost almost 300 million HP, and is the only boss I've seen so far that's been nerfed. Thoughts?

    Edit: Star Augur also nerfed.

    Often hotfixes goes out an hour or so before they actually make an post, gon assume its the case here.

    So far they were unchanged for Limit, but they also got to Star Augur before it was nerfed, so will need further confirmation.

    Elisande was nerfed ages ago, bit late with any complaints.

    Here's the official changes.

    I don't understand why Spelllblade needed to be nerfed a third time. Wasn't it only about on par with Krosus/Botanist/Tich in terms of difficulty after the last nerf? You also have to think that nerfs to Elisande and Gul'dan will be coming soon. The fact that only 37 and 12 US guilds have killed those bosses after they are out 2 months is crazy, especially because they are phasing in 7.2, and will probably want to put ToS live in a month or so.

    The Nighthold

    Spellblade Aluriel
    Mark of Frost damage reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
    Mark of Frost Explosion damage reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
    Detonate: Arcane Orb damage reduced by 15% in Mythic difficulty.
    Spellblade Aluriel’s and all additional enemies’ health reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.

    Star Augur Etraeus
    Felflame damage reduced by 20% on all difficulties.
    Thing That Should Not Be health reduced by 10% on all difficulties.
    Star Augur Etraeus health reduced by 10% on Mythic difficulty.

    Gul’dan
    Resolved an issue in which a player could retain the visual effects of Bonds of Fel after death.
    Resolved an issue in which the detonation from Bonds of Fel could occur after the player was combat-resurrected.

    ToS will took about 2-3 months after 7.2 release to be openned

    You also have to wonder why none of the Augar nerfs address the fact that you are pretty much better off 1 tanking the fight (at least if you have a Guardian or BM - and screwed if you don't). Solo tank fights have been something they have wanted to crack down on lately - Guarm hotfixes for a recent example, yet no change to this.

    well nerfing it by 10% hp makes you able to 2tank it and still have mor dps than previous strats with 1tank. The Guarm change just made it impossible to 1tank

    good nerfs, but Blizzard has to keep in mind that everything will get a lot easier with 7.2. They should not overdo it and continue with the nerfs because then they take away from the challenge.

    I doubt it will be that long - at least if they want to keep the expansion on a 2 year cycle. If they wait until July to put MoS out, they still have the whole last raid of the expansion tier to put out too. Assuming they give each tier ~8 months like the current tier (they have said the ~6 months they did in the past was too short), that pushes the next expansion into around Christmas 2018 at the earliest. That would make Legion the longest duration expansion by far.

    But, the nerf still gives you no reason to use a 2nd tank if you were currently able to 1 tank it instead of just continuing to 1 tank and take advantage of the HP nerf to bypass more mechanics. They usually try and design fights to explicitly prevent solo tanking with stuff exactly like what they added to Guarm.

    EN lasted 4 months, NH and the next 2 will last 6 months each, Legion will wrap up after 2 years like most expansions to date.

    but it makes it a lot easier for guilds that do not have the classes available to solotank to meet certain dps checks and that was probably their goal without thinking of an actual way to make 1tanking impossible.
    you will be able to 2tank 4heal and still save lust for voidphase now and probably skip 3rd conjunction in frostphase aswell so there's really not anything else you could skip elsewhere with 1tanking. Maybe ignore 2nd add and just burn boss depending on your execute but yea 1tanking is less "strat-enabling" as it was before now is what i'm basically saying.
